Jungkook was going to die.

The student had silently tip toed out of hs bedroom after jolting awake in the middle of the night.

He'd realised he hadn't informed Jin that Jimin was safe yet.

Jungkook leaned against the wall in the silent hallway and grabbed his phone, trying to call Jin so quickly he nearly dropped the device from his frantic fingers.

"Come on Jin pick up," Jungkook ushered. "Please pick u-"

"Jungkook?!"

"Jin! I'm so sorry! I fell asleep with Minnie because I took him to my place and totally forgot to call you and inform you on the situation but a lot happened and my mind was just totally somewhere else truly I'm sor-"

"I can't believe my brother stumbled upon a soul so gentle."

Jungkook swallowed his words, more than taken aback by Jin's.

"W-what?" He stammered. "I thought you'd be mad... I didn't even bring him home..."

"I believe my brother is as safe with you as he is with me," Jin said sincerely, his wide smile leaking through the phone-conversation.

Jin..." Jungkook whispered. "I didn't come see you guys for a month... a whole fucking month..."

Jin audibly sighed. "That's true. But what you had to witness that day at the cafe must've been horrible and I understand that Jungkook. You felt powerless and no one wants to feel that way."

"I overcame it... I think," Jungkook said, thinking back to how he'd held Minnie in his arms when the filter cracked right in front of him.

Jin chuckled. "You must've if you got Minnie home with you... you didn't have sex with him right?"

Jungkook stuttered in indignance. He couldn't even count how many times people had asked him that anymore. But now that Minnie had shared with him his horrible past, it stopped bothering the student so much.

"N-no I swear I didn't even kiss him. I didn't think that would be the right way to earn Minnie's trust. In his eyes everyone he meets wants to use him for his body. If I want to change that... I can't be resemble the monsters he sees in any way. "

Jungkook took a deep breath to stop the way his heart was suddenly racing.

There was a silence on the other side of the phone, but just before Jungkook wanted to ask if Jin was okay the elder spoke up again.

"You did it Jungkook. You somehow found a way to lock them all in your heart..." the man said, very clearly getting emotional as he spoke.

Jungkook let a proud smile creep on his face.

"Jungkook," Jin said sternly, though there was a hint of amusement evident in his tone. "Take a deep breath so that I can tell you the good news okay?"

Jungkook's smile fell and he frowned. "What good news?"

A melodic chuckle came from the older man before he began to talk.

"Diminie intergrated with Lil J. during the month you were gone."

Jungkook's brows knitted together. Integrated? He'd read something about that before when he'd looked up information on DID but he didn't quite understand it back then. He still didn't really understand it.
