Jungkook observed himself in the mirror and fixed his turtleneck as he got ready for his date.

The moment he'd been waiting for had finally arrived.

Jungkook squinted at his reflection, playing his date out to prepare himself for seeing his boyfriend again after such a long time.

"Hello gorgeous," the student said, trying to imitate Jim's voice to the best of his abilities.

"Oh hello Jim, long time no see," Jungkook said with his regular voice, casually brushing through his hair with his hand as if the filter was standing right in front of him.

But the student quickly shook his his head at himself. "No, no, no..." he said, trying a different approach. "Hey Jim... How are you doi-"

Jungkook groaned. "Okay wait."

He took a step back and smiled at the mirror, shoving his hands in his pockets and striking a decently normal pose.

"Hey Jim," he said with a sly smile that came out of nowhere. "You look great."

Jungkook then stood in a way Jim would stand and straightened up, confidently raising his chin as he gazed at himself in a sultry way.

"Thank you babe, it's good to see you again. I missed you so much."

Jungkook became flustered at himself and chuckled, smiling at the ground before looking back up at his reflection.

"I missed you too..." he said softly, biting his lips as his imagination took over and transported him to a different world.

The student felt his eyes water and quickly turned away from his mirror as if it was what kept his fantasy alive. "I missed you a lot..." he whispered, sniffing as he tried to calm down.

"Okay... you are batshit crazy," a voice interrupted, making Jungkook snap his head towards the door of his room.

Taehyung chuckled at Jungkook and walked in, already reaching out his arms to give his friend a hug.

"Nervous huh?"

Jungkook nodded with trembling lips, trying his best not to cry though the nerves in his stomache were driving him insane.

Taehyung smiled, grabbing Jungkook's shoulder to look him in the eyes. "I'm happy for you Kook. Atleast you got something good to compensate for the shitty news I brought you."

Jungkook wanted to shake his head and tell Taehyung he was okay with his discision, but the elder dimsissed him before he could speak.

"I know you've been pretending to be okay a lot lately, but we all know there's something missing right?" he asked with a sympathetic smile. "Go see your other half Kook. Or... your 5 other halfs?"

Taehyung shrugged his shoulders and strongly patted Jungkook's back. "I guess you could say you got catfished in the end after all."

Jungkook blurted out a laugh. "Hm... maybe," chuckled.

The student filled his lungs to calm his racing heart.

"How do I look?" he asked, looking down at himself with insecure eyes.

Taehyung pretened to think. "Maybe a little too formal?"

Jungkook jokingly punched Taehyung's sholder and his friend dramatically winced. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding. You look good Kook," he quickly said, rubbing his arm as if Jungkook had broken it. "I'm happy we decided to cut your hair."

Jungkook's lips i indignantly parted. "You said you liked it!"

Taehyung held up his hands. "Because you were having a crisis and I thought it was a phase!"
