The fair looked magical.

Though it was still mid-day, the colourful lights of the attractions didn't fail at making an impact on Jiminie.

The boy's eyes grew wide with wonder as he nearly ran at the first thing that catched his eye. But Jungkook was quick to hold him back and grabbed his hand firmly.

"Kookie~" Jiminie whined, tugging at his hand for Jungkook to let him run wild.

"I need you to stay by my side okay?" Jungkook said, lovingly stroking Jiminie's cheek. "We'll get to everything, don't worry."

Jiminie pouted but nodded and obeyed.

He turned back to the exciting fair attractions and the people walking around.

"What do you wanna do first?" Jungkook asked, praying to dear god the boy wouldn't pick out the most nausiating attractions first.

Jiminie blew out his cheeks as he scanned the thrilling fair. "Uhm... duckies?"

The boy turned to Jungkook and smiled widely a he pointed at one of the many fair booths.

It was a duck fishing game mostly just for children since it was quite impossible to lose, but Jiminie already started dragging Jungkook towards it.

"A-are you sure cupcake? Isn't that just for ki-"

"I know but there's a certain prize I want," Jiminie explained, keeping the promise he made Jungkook by pulling the man with him instead of running alone.

"Uhm, hi," Jungkook said, feeling slightly akward when they stood before the boothlady.

"Hi!" The woman that watched over the booth said kindly. "Are you here to play the game? One round is 1 dollar, 3 rounds is 2 and 6 rounds is 4."

Jungkook turned to Jiminie. "How many do you think you'll need?" He asked, only half-joking since he wasn't quite sure.

Jiminie lightly punched Jungkook's shoulder however, and pulled a fake frown. "One!" He said confidently.

Jungkook chuckled and reached into his wallet. "Alright, one round please."

Jiminie was handed a stick with a small loop at the end, with which he needed to catch three rubber ducks out of a small pool of water.

"You can do it," Jungkook cheered softly, but he couldn't keep a serious face for long when Jiminie poked his tounge out at him.

Just as Jungkook had expected deep down, Jiminie catched the three ducks at the first try and got to pick a prize.

Jungkook was thankful the lady was so kind and didn't judge them, though she probably just wanted the money.

"I want that one!" Jiminie said, pointing his small finger at a fake pink diamond bracelet that lay on display.

The woman nodded and gladly handed the piece of fake jewlery over to Jiminie.

"Thank you," Jiminie chimed respectfully, turning to Jungkook right after he took the bracelet.

"Here," he said, holding out the humble prize with a careful smile playing along his lips. He looked up through his eyelashes and softly nibbled on his lips.

"You want to give it to me?" Jungkook chuckled, scrunching his nose so hard it made his bunny teeth appear.

"Uh-hu," Jiminie answered. "I know the ducky game is for babies but it was the only game I though I could win..."

The boy looked at the ground shyly. "If you don't want it that's fi-"

Jungkook held out his wrist in front of Jiminie immediatly. "Go ahead," he said, not giving Jiminie the time to put false ideas into his head.
