Jungkook could only stare at the man.

Time stopped.

Sound moved far away.

His surroundings blurred.

All the student saw were those dark pupils that stared at him, begging him to believe that the souls of all the men he loved were held within them.

"Well... almost Jimin..." Jimin explained after a moment. "Minnie couldn't join us yet..."

Jimin's eyes darted across Jungkook's face. It was obvious he was searching for some kind of response. But Jungkook suddenly started feeling lightheaded, and his knees bucked.

"Fuck," he muttered, reality slipping his mind for the smallest of moments, though Jimin was quick to catch the student, and gently helped him sit down at the table.

"Are you okay baby?" Jimin asked with a concerned frown, cupping Jungkook's cheek to look at him. "Maybe it would've been wiser to tell you before we met..."

Jimin chuckled a little mischiviously with a smirk. "I just wanted to catch the look of suprise on your face."

Jungkook tried to take steady breaths, suddenly feeling like his turtleneck was choking him.

"Kookie?" Jimin asked, "could you do something for me before you tell me what you're feeling?"

Jungkook swallowed thickly, looking at Jimin as if the man were a monster that was about to eat him alive.

"I know you're probably overwhelmed right now, which I totally understand... but the filters prepared something for you....sort of like a gift..."

Jimin took a seat across from Jungkook at the table and gave the boy a sweet smile, though there was insecurity hiding behind it.

He retrieved a stack of papers from his coat.

4 Papers.

Letters, to be precise.

The man slid the letters towards Jungkook and nervously nibbled on his lips.

"Please... please read those. I-In that order."

Jungkook looked from the papers to Jimin and back to the papers.

Was this a prank? Where were the hidden cameras? What was happening? Was he dreaming? This couldn't be real. This couldn't be happening.

"But..." Jungkook said softy. "I... I never got to see them again... I never got to say goodb-"

"Please Jungkook..." Jimin whispered, begging the student with his eyes. "Read them... read them first..."

Jungkook stared at the pile of letters. He didn't want to read them. He didn't want this. He thought he wanted it but he didn't!

The student hesitantly reached for the stack of papers put of curiosity, despite his emotions telling him to throw a tantrum. But after Jungkook's gaze fell on the first word he already couldn't do it.

The first paper was coloured a babypink, and the candy-like scent it had been bathed in made the student's mind a little fuzzy. It's letters were written in calligraphy, and sparkly heart-shaped stickers were littered on the side and at the bottom of the paper.

"No," Jungkook said, throwing the letter back on the table with a steel expression.

"I'm not doing this..." he said. "I... I want them back... I want them back!"

The student buried his face in his hands.

"I was supposed to be there if you were going to integrate!" he said with a grit to his voice, pounding his fist against the table in a fit of anger.
