"So that went all kinds of wrong," Jungkook sighed as he sat on his bed, staring at his boring white wall in deep thought.
Namjoon had gone home quite abruptly soon after dropping Jiminie off, and very unlike Taehyung, the student allowed Jungkook and Jiminie to talk things over in his room.
Jiminie was wandering around Jungkook's small room touching random objects like a fascinated child.
"Jiminie, baby, could you sit down for a moment please?"
Jiminie made something of a whining sound and didn't listen to Jungkook at all.
The boy was being stubborn and in a way Jungkook felt like he deserved it.
But still, there were things Jungkook needed to say, so he wrapped his arms around Jiminie's waist and pulled the boy onto the bed, resulting in a lot of squealing and giggles.
"Kookie!" Jiminie laughed, his voice sounding like candy to Jungkook's ears.
When Jiminie sat up Jungkook brushed some of the boy's grey hair behind his ear like Jim sometimes did with him.
How he missed Jim, even if it had only been a moment ago since he was here. It was Jungkook's fault he left...
"I need to talk to you okay cupcake?" Jungkook said, adapting himself to Jiminie to make the boy feel comfortable.
"Are you gonna apologize for asking Jim to meet your friends insead of me?" Jiminie pouted, crossing his arms defiantly.
Jungkoook pursed his lips, he knew this had to be coming sooner or later.
"Are you a little jealous?" He teased, smirking to make the sweet filter laugh again.
Jungkook succeeded quickly, since Jiminie's sulking expression broke seconds after it was made and he catapulted himself into Jungkook's arms to shield his face.
"Nooo," he whined, though it was easy to tell he was lying.
"Well you did meet my friends after all right?" Jungkook tried to sooth, rubbing Jiminie's back.
"But I didn't leave a good impression! I was just crying about my hairclip..."
Jungkook chuckled fondly. That damn hairclip might've saved their entire relationship...
"Well I think they probably like you more than any of the other filters," Jungkook said, smiling as Jiminie sat back up again.
"Really?" The boy asked, his face lighting up.
"Mhm," Jungkook confirmed, grabbing Jiminie's chin for a second to look at him better.
Jimin giggled and pecked Jungkook's lips unexpectedly.
"But like... what was it you wanted to talk about?" The boy asked after a moment of happily staring into each other's eyes.
Jungkook took a deep breath and filled his lungs.
Jiminie was beautiful, he felt like home just like Jim. But how much contrast Minnie had given Jungkook, scared the student a lot. The filter's entire personality, it's way of talking, the way he looked at Jungkook as if he was a danger to Jimin in any way. It made Jungkook's skin crawl. He wanted to connect with all of Jimin's filters, but how could he connect with someone like that? Someone who existed purely to do things no one would want to do?
Jungkook knew most of his questions wouldn't find an answer if he didn't receive any either. The reason for Jimin's DID was still a mistery to him, and Jungkook wouldn't force the boy to talk about it. Their relationship was still young, that time would come later.
