Chapter 7: An unexpected visit

Draco took a sip of his coffee before taking a green apple from the fruit bowl. He walked towards the bedroom and looked at the bed. A girl was still fast asleep in his bed. The most beautiful girl he ever had the pleasure to meet.. He slowly walked in, leaning down over her and slightly shaking her awake.
‘I’m going off to work.’ he said.
‘Okay.’ she whispered pulling the duvet up.
‘It was nice meeting you in the pub yesterday.’ he whispered planting a kiss on her temple.
She chuckled.
‘It was a pleasure.’ she informed him.
Draco smiled to himself and shook his head as he left the bedroom again.
‘If you want there is coffee ready in the kitchen, you’ll be able to find that right?’ Draco asked over his shoulder.
‘I think I’ve caught a flash of the kitchen last night yes, when you pushed me up against the refrigerator.’ she chuckled.
‘Good, good.’ Draco smirked.
‘Bye!’ Draco said opening the front door of the apartment.
‘Have a nice day.’ he heard from the bedroom before he closed the door behind him.
Draco made his way down the stairs and out of the building before walking over to the building where Harry’s apartment was located.
‘Good morning.’ Draco smirked after Harry had gotten down.
‘Good morning, you’re cheerful.’
Draco laughed.
‘Am I allowed?’
‘Of course, rather have you cheerful then constantly mocking about everything.’ Harry said.
Draco rolled his eyes.
‘Let’s get ourselves to work.’ Harry said.
‘A good day to fight whatever gets on our paths.’ Draco said.
Harry nodded stretching as they turned the next corner.

Hermione took a warm shower before getting dressed and doing her make-up. She walked into the kitchen, making herself a nice warm cup of tea. She sat herself down on the couch with her steaming mug before she switched the TV on. She needed to have some time to clear her mind, so what else to do then watch episodes of Friends?
‘Wingardium Leviosa.’ she said pointing her wand at the Friends DVD in the open cabinet in the living room before letting it drop on the couch in front of her. She placed her mug on the coffee table before getting up to push the DVD into the DVD-player.  She pressed play after sitting back against the couch again and getting her warm mug of tea in her hands. Hermione took a small sip, burning her mouth in the meantime.
‘Dammit.’ she hissed quickly pulling the mug away from her lips.
Just as she placed her mug back on the coffee table the doorbell rang. Hermione frowned, not expecting any visitors today. She got up and walked to the door, widening her eyes when she sees who’s standing downstairs in front of the door of the building.
‘Come in.’ Hermione said through the phone before opening her front door and waiting for him to come up.
He stopped in front of her a minute later, staring her in the eyes.
‘Hi.’ he said.
‘Oh my God, it’s really you!’ Hermione breathed before throwing her arms around him and hiding her face in his chest.
‘It’s good to see you too.’ he smiled, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.
‘What are you doing here! Come in, come in! You’d like to have some tea?’ Hermione asked pulling away and stepping aside for her visitor to enter the apartment.
‘I was around and figured why not pay you a visit.’ he smiled.
Hermione smiled.
‘I’m glad you did! I’ve missed you so much!’ Hermione exclaimed getting a mug out of the cupboard.
‘I missed you too.’ he said.
‘Mailing is just not the same.’ Hermione said.
He shook his head.
‘Definitely not.’
Hermione gave him a small smile.
‘How have you been?’
‘I’ve been fine, you?’
‘I’ve been good actually.’ Hermione smiled looking back at those stunning blue eyes.
‘Where are you staying?’
‘Oh just a hotel nearby.’
‘You can stay here if you want? There is a spare room left.’ Hermione offered.
‘I don’t want to bother you.’
‘Jackson, come on, I’ve stayed with you for what? Three months? It’s really no problem, I’d actually like you to stay, to catch up.’ Hermione said.
Jackson flashed her his cute smile, the one that had every girl swooning in a matter of seconds, and nodded.
‘I’d like that too.’ he said taking the mug of tea from Hermione.
Hermione smiled and walked to the living room, sitting down at the same spot she had left to open the door for Jackson. It was strange seeing him here, not in his usual surroundings. His tanned skin slightly seemed off place, but she hadn’t known how much she had actually missed him, the smell of his surf wax and coconut. She actually came to love the sent when she was over in Australia. His brown hair was in the same hairdo as it had been when she was staying with him, his eyes as piercing as ever. Jackson sat down next to her and looked over at the TV.
‘Friends hu? Remember our Friends marathons?’ Jackson smiled.
‘I actually really started watching them because of those times.’ Hermione chuckled.
‘You did?’
Hermione nodded.
‘They remind me of fun times.’ Hermione smiled.
‘They really were fun times, weren’t they?’ Jackson said with a small smile.
‘They were.’ Hermione nodded.
‘Shall we have a little Friends marathon right now and go get some dinner after?’ Hermione suggested.
‘Sounds good to me.’ Jackson said.
