Chapter 45: Two years later

(A/N: this is two years later, so:
Narcissa Malfoy is 15 and in year 5 (along with her friends)
James Potter is 16 and in year 6
Scorpius Malfoy is 11 and in year 1
Rose Weasley is 11 and in year 1
Albus Potter is 14 and in year 4
Hugo Weasley is 14 and in year 4
Lily Potter is 9
Jean Malfoy is 7
Holly, Hope and Roxanne Weasley (and Matthew, Roxanne's boyfriend) have graduated from Hogwarts and are all 18
Christopher Hobbs is 17 and in year 7)

'Are you excited?' Scorpius asked.
'I answered you the first five times you asked this question, I'm not going to do it again.' Narcissa muttered as they followed their parents and little sister to the wall that leads to Platform 9 ¾ .
'Someone's moody.' Scorpius sang as she wisely took a step away from his sister before she'd punch his arm in frustration and irritation.
'Look who we've got there.' Hermione called, sparking the curiosity of her two eldest children. Jean skips forward and wraps her arms around Hope's neck as Hope drops to the ground. 'Jeany!'
'The Malfoy's have arrived.' Roxanne smiled as she greeted Hermione as Matthew let go of her hand and greeted Draco. 'How are you?'
'Good, not looking forward to having to say goodbye to two of my kids now.' Hermione told her.
'That's understandable. The only one left is Jean.'
'Just uh- how many years was it again daddy?' Jean asked, looking up at her dad. Draco ruffled his hand through her curly hair and smiled. '4 years.'
'4 more years!' Jean repeated with a broad grin. 'Come on I want to go through the wall!' Jean squealed as she took Hope's hand and started to run to the wall. Hope chuckled and ran after her before they disappeared into the wall. 'After you.' Draco motioned.
'Always a gentleman.' Hermione chuckled before disappearing through the wall, followed by Draco, Roxanne and Matthew. Holly just walked up to the wall when Scorpius jumped in front of her.
'Hey Holly, how are you do-' Scorpius started, leaning against the wall, only to have forgotten it is a doorway to another station. Narcissa couldn't help but laugh as she saw her brother fall through the wall. Holly widened her eyes and quickly ran through the wall to check on Scorpius on the other side, when Narcissa followed them she saw Holly help Scorpius up from the ground. 'Are you okay?' Holly asked.
'Great, just great.' Scorpius said, waving it away.
Holly brushed the dirt off his sweater and chuckled to herself. 'It's a doorway silly, not a real wall, remember?' she winked.
'I remember now.' Scorpius muttered.

'Mummy! Scorpius fell through the wall!' Jean laughed in the distance. Scorpius looked over his shoulder and let out a heavy sigh when he saw his little sister pointing at him and completely cracking up at what happened. 'He was trying to chat Holly up again.' Narcissa told her mother as she walked up to her. Hermione chuckled and shook her head. 'When will he realise he's too young for her?'
'Just let the boy dream.' Hermione said, wrapping her arm around Narcissa's shoulders. 'A little crush won't hurt anyone.'
'Well apparently it hurts Scorpius, did you see him fall?' Narcissa stated, a chuckle rolling over her lip. 'It was a hard crash.'
'Stop teasing your brother.' Hermione said.
'He can't even hear me!'
'Be easy on him and look out for him at school, okay? It's his first year.'
'Don't worry mum, I'm sure he'll be fine on his own. I was.' Narcissa shrugged.
'Just let him know you're there for him if he needs you, okay? You had Hope, Holly, Roxanne and James after all.'
'I will.'
'Good.' Hermione nodded.
'You know, I'm in year 1.' Scorpius stated as he and Holly made their way over to them.
'So I've heard, are you excited?' Holly asked.
'Extremely excited.' Scorpius grinned.
'You'll have fun, I'm sure you will. Hogwarts is great, but don't forget to make your homework.' Holly winked, messing his hair up with her hand.
'Listen to Holly. Homework is important.' Hermione chirped.
'Mum!' Scorpius hissed.
'Oh dear.' Hermione sighed, turning back to Jean who was asking for her attention.
'It's a pity I'm not at Hogwarts anymore. I could've given you a tour.' Holly said.
'You can come with me.' Scorpius offered a little too quickly.
Narcissa slowly shook her head, trying to keep herself from laughing.
'Malfoy!'
Narcissa turned around and saw Elizabeth walk up to her. 'Holden.' Narcissa laughed, giving her best friend a hug.
'How are you?' Elizabeth asked.
'Good, what about you?'
'Same.' Elizabeth grinned, pulling away from her. 'What's your brother doing?'
'Trying to flirt with Holly.' Narcissa shrugged. 'Emphasis on trying.'
'Oh Merlin. He still has a crush on Holly?'
Narcissa nodded, looking over her shoulder at Scorpius who was looking up at Holly as he was telling her something. 'Hi Mrs. Malfoy.' Elizabeth greeted.
'Hey Elizabeth, are you here by yourself?' Hermione asked.
'No, my parents dropped me off. Said goodbye to them already.' Elizabeth told her.
'Have you seen Isobelle?' Narcissa asked.
'Not yet.' Elizabeth shook her head. 'How were your last few days of freedom?'
'They were okay. I didn't do much, read through some of the school books for this year.'
'Same.' Elizabeth chuckled. 'How excited are you for your new position as captain for our Quidditch team?'
'I can't wait to start try outs and training. It's going to be awesome.'
'Have you seen Christopher yet?' Elizabeth asked.
Narcissa shook her head. 'I haven't. Oh look there's Isobelle!'
Elizabeth turned around and smiled when she saw the last member of their very own Golden trio.
'I'm here, I'm here!' Isobelle breathed. 'Am I too late?'
'You seriously asking us if you're too late when the train is still waiting over there and we're still not seated inside it?' Elizabeth asked.
Isobelle looked sideways at the train before turning back to the two girls. 'Oh.'
'Had a rough morning?'
'Dad was late again.'
'Why doesn't that surprise me?' Narcissa chuckled.
'Oh Narcissa!'
'I'm definitely going to miss the sound of being summoned like that.' Narcissa said, half sarcastically, before she turned around and looked up at Hope.
'I've got something for you.' Hope told her, rummaging through her small bag. 'It's great to have everything you need in such a small bag thanks to the spell you taught me Hermione, but it's hard to find the thing you're looking for.' Hope said.
'Why don't you just use accio insert name of thing you're looking for?' Narcissa asked.
Hope looked up at her and grinned. 'What's the fun in that? It'll ruin the surprise. See Hermione, that is why your daughter was sorted into Ravenclaw. Thinking ahead, coming with a solution, let's just forget she had forgotten about the surprise factor in this matter.'
'One smart cookie.' Holly said, appearing next to her sister, Scorpius by her side.
'I'm a smart cookie myself, you know.' Scorpius said nonchalantly.
'Of course you are.' Holly chuckled, ruffling her hand through his hair.
'Ah here it is.' Hope grinned when she finally found what she had been looking for. She pulled a small package out and handed it to Narcissa. Narcissa thanked her and looked at it. 'Well, what are you waiting for? Open it!' Hope ushered. Narcissa opened the small package and inside was a pretty silver necklace with a broomstick on it. 'For good luck during your time as team captain of your Quidditch team.' Holly smiled.
'Thank you, both of you. It's beautiful.' Narcissa smiled.
'I knew you'd like it! The only thing we have to hope for now is that it will really bring you luck.' Hope said.
'Of course it will.' Hermione said. 'Very thoughtful of you girls.'
'Ah it was no biggy. We know you're going to be great Narcissa, we just thought it'd be nice to have something that would remind you of how great you are in the moments you don't feel like it.'
'Thank you Hope and Holly. It's amazing.' Narcissa smiled broadly, giving both girls a hug.
'You two are horrible.' Roxanne said, stopping next to Hope, Matthew by her side. 'Plotting a surprise present for Narcissa and not letting me know, so I look stupid with nothing to give.'
Hope laughed and bumped her hip against Roxanne's. 'Life is tough sometimes, at least you've got a boyfriend to moan to.' Hope winked.
Roxanne rolled her eyes and bumped her hip back. 'Crazy person.'
'Love you too.' Hope said, planting a kiss on her cheek.
'Where are the Potters? They're never late.' Holly said.
'I don't know.' Draco answered, looking around. 'The, uh, other Weasley's are also late.'
'Maybe bad traffic?' Blaise answered appearing next to Draco.
'Took you long enough.' Draco said. 'We thought you'd let your daughter fly over instead of giving her a nice and peaceful trip by train.'
'It's always a possibility mate.'
'Hey!' Isobelle protested.
'Just joking, of course.' Blaise winked.
'I wouldn't let him, don't you worry.' Rosaline told her daughter, pressing a kiss to her cheek.
'Good to know.' Isobelle said.
'There they are!' Jean squealed. 'Aunty Ginny!' she exclaimed as she ran up to Ginny.
'Hey Jean.' Ginny smiled, giving Jean a hug. 'How are you?'
'Good.' Jean grinned broadly. 'Where is Lily?'
'I'm here.' Lily answered, appearing by her mother's side.
'What took you so long?' Hermione asked when Ginny came over to greet her.
'James and Albus.' Ginny sighed.
'Why doesn't it surprise me it were those two?' Hermione chuckled, before greeting Harry. 'How's your head feeling?'
'Fine. The pain has subsided so that's good.' Harry told her.
'Great Auror gets concussion after tripping over a small hole.' Ginny chuckled. 'Loved the headline the morning after.'
'She cut it out and framed it.' Harry muttered.
Hermione laughed. 'No offence Harry, but it wasn't really smart.'
'You don't say.' Harry said, rolling his eyes.
'How's that bump on your head treating you Harry?' Blaise asked. 'Blue looks good on you.' he laughed.
'They're not going to drop it, will they?'
'Of course not. I haven't heard Draco talk about anything but your gracious fall.' Hermione informed him.
'For Merlin's sake. It wouldn't surprise me if he was the one to sell the story to the Daily Prophet gossip section.'
Hermione and Ginny couldn't help but laugh.
'Hey everyone.' Ron greeted, appearing on Platform 9 ¾ , Lavender, Hugo and Rose following. 'There's my favourite, clumsy, person on this planet.' Ron grinned when he sees Harry.
'There's no escaping.' Harry sighed, receiving a slap on the back from his best friend.
'It never gets old. I wish we had it in a motion picture. I swear, I would've played it all day and it wouldn't get old.' Ron laughed.
'I'm sure it wouldn't.'
'We're going to find a place to sit before all the cabins are full again just like last year.' Narcissa said after getting her mother's attention.
'Okay sweetheart, have fun and write me letters, okay?' Hermione said.
'Will do.' Narcissa nodded, giving her mother hug before turning to her father.
'Have fun darling.' Draco said, planting a kiss to the top of his daughter's head.
'Thanks dad.'
'And if you need anything, let us know.' he told her.

'I will.' Narcissa nodded before she said her goodbyes to the others and waited for Isobelle and Elizabeth to have done the same.
'Here comes a new year.' Narcissa said as she stepped into the train.
'Let's make it a good one, captain.' Elizabeth grinned, following her.
