Some of the merchants had already noticed the suspicious man and decided to leave. "Why is he here again?" Y/N asked.

Obviously, she knew roughly who this person was. She had seen her once or twice when she reported to the Hydra headquarters. She didn't know what he was doing here though. "Y/N, stay back and don't get involved with-" Y/N interrupted Steve. "I can throw a dagger. Don't tell me to leave you guys to fight this dude alone," She argued.

Before Steve could tell her to be careful, Loki got punched in the nose by the Hydra agent. Somehow, he was paying more attention to how Y/N was arguing with Steve rather than keeping an eye on the agent. After punching Loki, he decided to meddle with Steve a bit. Loki got back up again, more than a bit irritated, and flung himself at the agent. Like and angry cat or a pissed-off squirrel.

Y/N pulled out two daggers from the jacket and, as soon as Steve got flung across the market, began fighting the agent. Here's when Y/N realized that he got the same training as her. Same attack patterns, same defense tactics and even the same amount of power in each attack. But instead of fighting Y/N, he deflected all her attacks. Loki got kicked a few feet back.

Confused as hell and not knowing what to do, Y/N slipped up and got punched right in the jaw. He must've hit a tactical place because Y/N dropped to her knees, feeling very lightheaded. The agent picked her up and threw her over his shoulder. "Hey, America, he's getting away!" Loki yelled before chasing the agent. Steve stood up, covered in dust and chased after the agent who had gotten a hold of Y/N.

Somewhere between the heavy going up and down, and the yelling of Loki, Y/N started to regain conscientiousness. "Yo!" She yelled and hit the agent in the back repeatedly but to no avail. "Let go off me, you hydra creep! We're on the same side!" She yelled at him. It seemed as if he wasn't even listening. He ran out of the village and headed into the dry landscape.

Y/N looked up and saw Loki and Steve following them. Suddenly he started speeding up. Y/N turned her head around to look where he was headed before widening her eyes. "DUDE, NOT A CLIFF! I SWEAR TO GOD, I WILL KILL YOU-" Was the last thing she said before screaming her lungs out as the agents leaped off a cliff.

"No!" Loki yelled as he looked down, seeing both of them disappear into the water. When Loki was about to jump, Steve grabbed him tightly. With Loki having little to no muscle, it wasn't hard to drag him away from the edge of the cliff.  "Let me go! I'm a god! I can swim! I'll survive!" He yelled at Steve. "You don't know that! Thor would kill me if you got killed in a mission!" Loki huffed and pushed Steve off him.

"Whatever," He said and walked away. Steve watched him retreat with a sigh and looked at the edge. He pressed his earpiece and said: "Tony, we lost one,"

The water fizzed at the bottom of the cliff. In one movement, it separated again to let Y/N swing her head out and fight for her air before she got pulled down again. The agent had grabbed her by her leg and pulled her down, wrapping his arms around her so she couldn't escape. He himself had prepared for this situation and was equipped with an oxygen tank that was light enough for him to run with, but full enough to be underwater longer than Y/N could.

What the hell?!

Y/N struggled against his grasp, but the agent's metal arm was strong enough to keep her at bay. She kicked and punched and squirmed around but to no avail.

Let go, let go, let go, LET GO

The sudden limp body of Y/N made the agent feel a weird sense of relief. He swam upwards and held Y/N's head up while he tried to swim to shore. Once there, he made sure that Y/N was fully on land before pumping the water out of her body. He had a few minutes before Y/N would wake up, so he tossed her over his shoulder again and walked off.

"No sign of her at all?" Tony asked over the phone. "I'll send someone to check the cliff but they dove pretty deep," Steve said. "Okay, I'll make sure someone's on the way," Tony said. "How's Loki holding up," He asked. Steve turned to Loki, who had been awfully silent. "I think there may be some anger cooking deep down. Make sure Thor is aware of the situation when he's back from his mission,"

Steve hung up before they found their motorbikes. They both stepped on their own and zoomed off. As they drove through the dry hills, Steve noticed that Loki was going much faster than usual. He was turning in more V like shapes and cutting through oncoming traffic. Loki definitely didn't seem fine at all.
