"You seem to be doing well. Even though you almost broke your leg," Doctor Strange said as he slowly made Y/N bend and stretch her leg. "Dude, your surname is Strange. Literally! What did your ancestors do to earn that name?" Y/N pondered out loud as he kept checking in her leg. "I never asked my parents." He admitted. "However, as I said-" "I would've asked as soon as I could! Anyone would." Y/N interrupted him. "All doctors truly are weird," She sighed and leaned back.

"You must've met a lot of doctors to make that generalisation." He huffed before he wrote some things down in his notebook. "I got hurt a lot." She shrugged. The doctor looked up and hesitated to ask something. "How high was the building?" Y/N looked up. "Heh?" The doctor clarified: "Which you jumped off of,"

"Pretty high." She estimated. "What is pretty high?" He asked and expected something more specific. "I don't know. I was kinda distracted when I was being chased by an agent who wanted to kill me and my partner in crime," Y/N almost spat back but decided to remain calm. "That's right. My apologies," the doctor said and backed off.

When the awkward silence began to make its way into the conversation, Tony came in the room and catapulted it back to its awkward chambers.

"How many bones has she broken?" He asked as he closed the door. "None," the doctor answered. "None?" Tony repeated after a beat of silence. "I checked," the doctor said. "That's impossible. I get that Loki is fine because he is a god but she is just a human," Tony argued. Strange shrugged with a smile that he covered with his hand. "The brain surgeon says I'm fine. Can I go?" Y/N asked impatiently.

"No scars, no fractures, nothing," The doctor told Tony. "She does have this huge bruise," he confessed, tilted her chin to the side and revealed a big blue mark on her neck. "That's just a hickey." Tony said. "No, it's a bruise. I hit a pole on my way down," Y/N argued and slowly let her chin lower. "That's clearly a hickey. Trust me, I would know." Tony chuckled. "Did Loki give you that?"

"Dude, it's not a hickey." Y/N pushed with a frown. "I didnt hear a 'no'" Tony smirked. "That's because you're putting words in my mouth," Y/N hissed.

"Enough. It's a bruise," Strange said to calm everyone down. "Although, before I inspected it, I thought it was a hickey aswell."

"Can I leave?" Y/N asked, avoiding all eye contact. "Sure, you're free to leave," Strange said. Y/N slowly slid off the chair and made her way to the door. Tony leaned a little closer to the doctor.

"But it is a hickey, right?"

Meanwhile Thor interrogated Loki for intell on what exactly happened. Due to Loki being a piece of sh*t and helping Y/N with her escape plan, Loki had been grounded to his room for the time being."What did he look like?" He asked Loki. "Like a typical agent? Look, I already told you that it was sudden and there were too many people," Thor narrowed his eyes. "I know you're lying. The god of mischief isn't that mischievous anymore,"

"What? Do you want to color of his eyes?" Loki shot back. "If that'll help us find him, then I would love to!" Thor almost yelled. "Fine. Dark brown eyes, I saw a chunk of brown hair sticking out of his black beanie, probably American, around his thirties and he's from Hydra. Need more, your majesty?" The glare Loki shot Thor was judgemental but Thor decided to look right through it. "I'll ask Y/N instead. You're grounded, have fun in here," Thor stood up and left, closing the door behind him and locking it.

"Hold it!"

Y/N turned around as she held the doorknob to her room in her hand. "What's up, Steve?" She asked as the captain walked toward her. "You're not off the hook," he told her. She slowly removed her hand off the knob. "You may have saved Loki and yourself from that Hydra agent but you cannot save yourself from consequences," Steve told her. "We spesifically told you that it was forbidden to go out for the time being and not only did you go out but you dragged a bratty, green snake with you!"

"Loki got a penalty and it would be unfair if you didn't. You're grounded. You'll stay in your room until further notice," This sucked but the thought that she would not be able to do anything Hydra asked her to do sucked more. So much more. "You can't do that! You need me-" "And when we do, we'll get you," Steve said before opening the door to her room. "We'll let you out for your essential needs,"

Y/N huffed: "Unbelievable," shook her head  and entered her room. "Thor will come to check up on you in a moment," Steve informed before closing the door and locking it. After a few seconds passed, Y/N turned to her bed and kicked one of the legs as hard as she could making the whole thing colaps. She pulled out her phone. 'Perfect opportunity to monitor every converted spy' she thought and opened the spying app. Most of them were in check, the others went insane and committed suicide. Shame. She could use all the help she could get.

"What're you doing?"

Y/N shot up, closing her phone and looking up. Before her stood Loki. "What are you doing here-" "I've got my ways," Loki grinned as he slowly reached his hand toward Y/N, going straight through her face. "Oh," she said and slowly put her phone away.

Well that's inconvenient.
