So Many Things I Want To Say

Chapter 8

Tessa:

"Come on Hardin let me try." I hold his hands. I close my eyes his hands are hovering undermine.

"It's getting hot." He chuckles. Warmth is radiating out of my hands transferring energies. I am learning hands on healing Reiki. Hardin is my guinea pig. I laugh along with him.

“Healing you is going to be tough.” I laugh at him.

“Hey what does that mean? I am perfectly healthy.” I know he rolled his eyes as he said that, my eyes are still closed.

“It has nothing to do with you being healthy it’s your aura, your energy field,” I don’t even have to look at him and I can tell his face is scrunched up in confusion.

"I am going to ask you a question and you have to answer and I'll know you’re lying," he glares at me.

"That's impossible," he laughs, "how can Reiki do that?"

"Nothing is impossible when the universe is involved." He rolled his eyes. "I'm serious now try." I keep my hands over him, "When my energy moves forward it's a yes, when it moves backwards that's a no." I look at him he smirks. I know he is going to ask something smart.

"Do you love me?" I look at him with a side way look.

"Hardin something that we both don't know." I smile I know I love him that's a given... But I think he was asking about a different love...
                           

Hardin:

What on Earth am I going to ask? I know she loves me that was stupid. Does she love me? Love me? I want to hold her in my arms and tell her I love her, that I love the way she breathes, the way she smiles, the way her perfect voice makes me sink where I stand, the way her body just drives me crazy.

"Hardin come on." She brings me back to reality. She is so beautiful I think this is silly. But I look at her longingly.

"I don't know, Tessa, this is stupid." I want to ask her something but I am not sure if I want to know the answer yet.

"Please Hardin." She puts her hand on my leg. We are sitting in her bed.

"Can you just continue giving me a Reiki treatment that was nice my headache was actually going away?" I smile, I lay my head in her lap relaxing myself. Her hands feel so warm on my head. I can see the gold light.
                             

Tessa:

My hands are on his temples I close my eyes, I see bright gold and pink light surrounding his body. Knowing that I am relaxing him makes me feel good. Reiki is very intimate depending on the person you are working on. You both can infuse each other with pure love and light. Which will bring you closer. Reiki heals, not saying it's the cure to anything but it can either help bring your client peace or bring life.

Hardin:

Finally relaxed and at peace. Opening my eyes to see Tessa crying. "Tessa? What's wrong?" She doesn't answer. "Tessa!?" She won't look at me. All I hear is her crying. "Tessa! Answer me!" I wave my hands in front of her face but nothing. I try to touch her I blink and we are no longer in the room. I'm in a hospital... I look around to see my mom, Tessa's mom and Tessa surrounding me. I try to touch them but they can't seem to see me. What's going on?

"Hardin? Can you hear me?" Tessa says with tears in her eyes, holding my hand.

"Yes! I can." her head moves up.

"He can hear me." She knows I'm here. She can get yes and no answers from me. "Hardin do you know where you are?" I am not even sure what is going on. I am completely oblivious. I sit next to her, I want to feel her... I try to touch her arm, but I can't feel her heat, her life. I want to hold her. Play with her hair. Cuddle into her, bring her home knowing everything is okay.

"No."

"He doesn't know where he is." I want to wake up! I blink I lean in to lay my head on her shoulder but I open my eyes, I am no longer in the hospital room. Where am I now?

"Hardin." I turn to see my father. My father died when I was a teen... He was killed. I really don't want to get into that right now.

"Dad." I stand staring at him intently not sure how I should react.

"Hardin, are you dead?" Such a great question to start off with.

"I don't even know, I saw myself in a hospital bed but I don't even know if that was real I have been in so many different parts of my past that I don't even know what's real anymore."
