Don't play around, I know you're there
I feel like you'll appear, so I wait aimlessly
I need to go find you, go find you
If I cry now, I might not be able to see you so

To say Chenle felt like crying was an understatement.

He really wanted to walk up to those three girls (of which he could somehow never remember their names despite them being immensely popular) and just yell at them. He wasn't the most confrontational type, but he really wanted to scold them or something.

He had decided, when Heiryung had started crying in the studio that day, that she was the most precious thing and needed to be protected at all costs.

Well he wasn't the only who thought that.

When he was sitting next to her while she slept with a big bandage on her forehead, four grown men came running, no sprinting in screaming profanities and the larger of the two would occasionally knock something over.

"Which one of you is Mr. Seo," the nurse asked as Chenle looked at the four men.

One was extremely short and looked ready to down right attack Chenle the moment he made eye contact with him. The other looked like a mad bunny who was going to kill everyone in the room then himself. The third one was clearly muscular and had a pretty face. Other than that he looked awkward as hell.

The last was huge. Like tall. Tree type tall. Tall Bitch tall. He overall looked the nicest out of the three despite his size, but he also had broken the most shit out of the three.

"That is I," tall bitch said raising his hand. "Johnny Seo."

The nurse nodded and looked back at the other four.

"Then who are they?"

"Err," Johnny seemed to pause, the rest of Dream (now including Jisung and Haechan) walking back inside and glancing at the men. "They are my colleagues."

That was when Chenle realized these were the men that were in the shop normally, and bunny bitch was Doyoung, the owner.

The nurse nodded skeptically, but allowed them to stay.

"What is you relationship to Heiryung, Mr. Seo," the nurse said as Jisung froze at the sight of Chenle.

Chenle was holding Heiryung's hand, and had a chair pretty close to her.

"We're good friends of hers," Johnny said.

"And that gives you a right to take her home," the nurse questioned.

"Well yes as we are more of a father figure than the piece of scum that is called her dad," Doyoung snapped, "her dads at work and won't be getting home until twelve so unless you want to be staying late to watch a sleeping student I'd suggest you let us bring her back."

The nurse froze then glared at Doyoung, handing Johnny the clipboard.

"I'm just going to ask you to fill this out," she said as Johnny took it and grabbed a pen, sat down in a chair, and began to fill it out.

Ten immediately stormed towards Chenle and glared over the boy, taking the chance to be taller than someone, ignoring the fact that Chenle was sitting.

"What is your relationship to my daughter," he said.

"I'm her errr- uhm...."

"He's her friend," Jisung said walking towards the two, towering over Ten and breaking apart Chenle and Heiryung's hands that were interlocked. "Nothing more."

Chenle looked up at Jisung in fear and surprised. Didn't he realize that Chenle like Hieryung?

Why was he being so sharp about his comments?

And why did it feel like he was purposely directing them at Chenle for real?

Ten glanced at Jisung then back at Chenle, and walked away, Jisung giving a warning glance before Donghyuck pulled the boy away.

Jisung on the other hand was really regretting his irrational move to reprehend Chenle for as reason unknown to the boy.

This wasn't going to end well at any time, but Jisung couldn't tell Chenle as Heiryung was his crush. Heiryung didn't even want Jisung, and she didn't even know who he was.

"I know," Jisung hummed, feeling Heiryung's undeniable dream presence behind him. Dream left the office, leaving Jisung alone.

Jisung didn't know what else to do do he sat down on the bed.

"I can feel you even more now," he said, "I know who you are. Can you see me?"

The thing was, Heiryung could see him.

She saw his face, his whole body, and she was shocked.

Jisung was her soulmate.

How could she have been so oblivious?

She was laying spread out in the passenger seat as Jaehyun, Ten, and Doyoung had squeezed in the back. Forcing herself to wake up, she immediately went to answering him.

"I know who you are."

"You do?!"

"Yeah, when I was asleep I saw you."

"Really?""

"Yeah."

"That's uhm, cool?"

"I guess."

"Are you okay?"

"I'm never okay, but I was just thinking."

"Oh no. About what?"

"How we should try to avoid each other as much as possible."

"What?!"

"You know how I feel about Soulmates. I think we should just try to forget it. I'll stop hanging around you guys. You stop trying to talk to me. I'll stay away until I think I'm fine to try to get to know you. Right now I have.... plenty going on."

"But don't you know that once-."

"Please stop trying. Please please please."

Something in her heart seemed to break as she told him these things, but it was all Heiryung could really do.

He would leave her.

She was sure of it.

Now that he knew who she was, he shouldn't have an issue with leaving her.

But if he didn't, he would leave her. He would find too much about her family and leave her.

He wouldn't like her scars, he would think she's weak. He'd think she's dumb. He'd think she's not enough.

He would leave her.

Or he would use her.

She wouldn't let that happen.

But she didn't know, the effects of staying away was already beginning to kill her.
