Finally, summer had come.

And with summer came freedom. Well this year.

All summers before had been majority Heiryung working 24/7 or hiding in her prison of a room.

This year was different.

She had no job, she had a safe environment.

And most of all, she had a family.

"Heiryung," Johnny called from the living room, "Meirong's at the door?"

Heiryung shot up out of bed and rushed to the door, a goofy smile on her face.

"Geez Hei," Meirong giggled looking at her friend.

"Where are you going? To bed?"

Heiryung rolled her eyes and let her friend in, Meirong bowing to Johnny and Ten who was in the kitchen.

"It's awesome that you have like... two gay dads," she whispered to Heiryung as the two girls made their way to her room.

"One they aren't my dads," Heiryung corrected, "and two I don't think they're even married."

"Whatever still awesome."

Heiryung laughed and shook her head before tugging out a pair of denim shorts and a yellow T-shirt. She threw the two in then tugged a pair of white sneakers on while Meirong simply played a game on her phone.

The two exited the room, Johnny back on his laptop, Ten gone at work.

"Hey I'm going out with Meirong," Heiryung called as she grabbed a bag.

"Ok don't make out too much," Johnny called back, Heiryung pausing and glancing at him.

"Johnny?"

"Yeah?"

"She's not my soulmate."

"Oh yeah."

Meirong laughed and followed Heiryung out the door.

"So how's it going with that guy," Meirong asked as Heiryung glanced at the world like it was brand new.

"What do you mean?"

"Kun?"

"Oh you mean my therapist," Heiryung nodded, not breaking her eyes away from a dog and it's owner sitting at a cafe.

"Yup!"

"It's going good," Heiryung said, "it's really helping me realize a lot of shit. It's kinda just opening my eyes and helping me learn more about myself. It's also like school."

"Ew."

Heiryung laughed loudly, throwing her head back. She loved to just be an obnoxious loud bitch sometimes, it was different from what she had grown up with.

"What I mean it's teaching me," Heiryung said, "like how to rationalize and think my way out of breakdowns. It's teaching me how to control my emotions and thoughts better."

Meirong nodded.

"Yeah," Meirong said, "mines kinda similar."

Heiryung nodded.

"It's just us two bitches," she said wrapping her arm around Meirong and using the other to gesture grandly at absolutely nothing.

"Mentally unstable."

Meirong broke our in laughter, the two teens locking arms and practically skipping down the street.

Then they saw something that completely surprised them.

There in the middle of the sidewalk was Eunhye.

And what surprised them was the fact that she was holding onto another girl's hand. The girl's hair was bleach blond, and some tattoos were placed on her arm.

Eunhye stopped walking the minute she saw the two, panic flying across her face.
