Heiryung tapped her foot as she glanced out the window

Heiryung tapped her foot as she glanced out the window. It was music, and for today, Meirong had been absent as she was visiting her dad in China.

Heiryung wanted out of class. It was english, the female teacher droning on the languages mechanics and the pronunciation of the words. Heiryung just wanted out.

Meirong had English, Music, and lunch with her, Jisung having Math, Music, and lunch with her. So in this class period she was alone, just waiting for the bell to ring.

And eventually it did.

Heiryung jolted up from her seat and grabbed her backpack. She raced out into the hallway to her next class which was math with excitement.

It was the forth class of the day, and probably the hardest, yet she found joy in it. That joy? Jisung no doubt. She couldn't really pinpoint why but it seemed to help.

She walked into class, almost no students in there, but they would start filing in soon.

She took her seat and pulled out her notebook. The last drawing was the camera. It had seemed so long ago. Before she found Jisung and Dream. Before she had her accident. It had been months ago. And now she had only two weeks before school ended.

Time had seemed to fly. She felt crushed, the court case, her dad, Mark. She wanted a break. She wanted to know Jisung better, but he almost seemed to not try.

She felt a presence approaching her and as she looked up she saw Jisung. He sent her a small smile and sat, he normally didn't sit next to her in this class.

"What are-"

"Do you wanna go to the school carnival with me," he said as he set down his bag, most students already there.

They all looked at the two in shock, as if they never saw the two talking minimally in Science or lunch.

"Well Uhm-"

Heiryung seemed to trip over her words after seeing the stares of the students. What would they think?

"I mean you are my soulmate after all," Jisung said, this time raising his voice to make sure everyone heard.

He didn't know where the boost of confidence came from, but when he saw a light blush dust Heiryung's cheeks he smiled wider.

Gasps and whispers broke out.

"Oh my god they're soulmates!"

"They're kinda cute though."

"Huh the two unapproachable people of the school... not surprised actually."

"Two giants are soulmates... it kinda works."

"Jesus Christ I feel bad for him."

Heiryung nodded, her voice abandoning her. Jisung smiled.

"Hey I told you I'd be with you," he said as he sat down, "I'd never leave you."

Heiryung smiled.

And the whispers stopped.
