Heiryung hadn't left her room since the news of her brother.

It was like a harsh reality was hitting her like a truck.

She honestly didn't know what to feel.

It was just a bunch of jumbled up emotions. That was all she had been feeling lately it had seemed though.

Heiryung felt though she should be happy knowing she could finally reunite with her brother but a part of her knew he had left her.

He had completely abandoned her.

What would she even say?

"Hey brother that left me when I was five and never bothered to even check up on me or make sure our mentally unstable dad won't try to kill me, how's it going? Did you know father dearest ran me through with a knife while you were living your best life? He's now in a coma cause my soulmate, which was more emotionally there fo me than my whole family has, ran him through with a glass bottle and now me and my soulmate, which you might know by the way, are going to court!!"

"Well then that's interesting."

"Fuck."

Heiryung had quite literally spoken her thoughts out.

"Oh sup."

"So your brother... I'm guessing you found him?"

"Uhm well turns out Johnny knows him and is bringing him over to meet me. Uhm he hasn't told him that I am uhm ya know under Johnny's legal guardianship."

"...yikes."

"Great response green bean."

"Ok but how exactly was I supposed to respond?"

"...oof?"

"You give me a headache."

"Sorry..."

Jisung realized his mistake almost immediately.

"A good headache though. Uhm I know your alive and well, and uhm well... yeah."

"You are the most awkward person I know."

"Gee thanks."

Heiryung couldn't help smile.

Simple telepathic conversations like these lifted her spirits. Whether she was bickering with him or cheating on a test, it was always entertaining.

As she was about to respond with a snarky comeback, Heiryung heard the front door open.

Oh god she wasn't ready.

"Sungie they're here."

"Hey just breath ok?"

"Easier said than done jackass."

"In and out please."

"Just like the glass bottle through my dad."

"Really?"

"Not helping I know."

"Yeah..."

Soon enough a knock interrupted her.

She looked up and saw Johnny poking his head in.

"I'm sure you heard because you have the ears of a Peruvian Fruit Bat," he started, "but uhm he's here."

Heiryung took a breath and stood before looking at her shabby appearance.

The long scar that ran along her arm was on display as she was wearing a t-shirt and some shorts. Her hair was pulled into a half up half down look. She was barefaced and you could see the faint scar on the left of her eye.

She winced before looking back at Johnny who had been carefully watching her.

"Your fine," he said, "your just fine ok?"

Heiryung nodded and followed him out of the room.

As they made their way to the living room she could hear the faint sound of the TV.

She could only see the back of his head but her stomach was already filled with butterflies.

"Hey Mark," Johnny called, Heiryung immediately cursing under her breath.

"I have someone I think you should meet."

Her brother turned around and her breath hitched.

It wasn't only the fact that he was her brother and it was the first time seeing his face in eleven years.

But it was because his photo had been in the dreamiest dorm as well.
