Going to therapy for you's somethin' that's worth doing

Jisung now understood what Heiryung felt that day, well partly. He was the prosecutor, he was defendant. He had a risk of going to jail, well juvie.

Granted her risk was going back to living with an abusive father or an abusive man going free, so both weren't very desirable.

All he knew was that Heiryung had seemed a ton more cheerful the past three weeks after her trial. School ended, she was now seeing a therapist, and she was now definitely safe from her dad.

She had called her mom once with Mark, Heiryung telling Jisung that it had been very emotional for the two.

She was becoming more social, being the one that reached out first, speaking up for herself more, and overall just seeming a bit more... free.

Why he was thinking of this in the middle of court was beyond him.

"Would Kim Jungwoo come to the witness stand?"

Jisung watched as the older male sat down at the podium his hands calmly folded on top as Mr. Lee's prosecutor looked at him.

"What would you say you remember from that night," he said looking Jungwoo straight in the eyes.

"Panic," Jungwoo said, "I remember how panicked the boys were when they called me. I also remember looking in when the police finally got the door open and seeing so much blood."

"Who's blood?"

"Heiryung's and her dad's of course."

The prosecutor glanced at the juries.

"Would you say that you understand what was really going on then or were you just randomly called?"

"I was randomly called," he started, "but now I understand that it could've easily been Jisung or any other person who walked inside."

"What do you mean by easily been Jisung?"

"Meaning easily him who was stabbed."

"Instead of Heiryung?"

"No with Heiryung, both of them."

The prosecutor glanced back at Mr. Lee who shifted in his orange jumpsuit uncomfortably.

He clearly wasn't trying his hardest now knowing it was going to be pretty hard to fight for a criminal.
