I feel like I know
What you're going to say
In this moment
Even though I don't know everything...

☆ ☆ ☆Heiryung brushed down her hair, the smoothness different from it usual tangled mess. Ten had flat ironed it for her and made sure it had a shine that it never had.
She looked in the mirror and had to do a double take.
She looked... older.
A dress skirt with a dress shirt and a blazer. One inch heels and a pearl necklace that was definitely found at the nearest Macy's. The simple eye makeup that she had practiced over and over again, the red lipstick.
Was this really her?
Would this be a twenty year old Heiryung on her way to her awful office job that she loathed because she didn't follow her dreams?
She didn't want it to be.
Despite looking older and grown up, she didn't like it. She felt like she was looking at a future that didn't suit her.
She wanted a future where she could wear simpler, more comfortable clothes. A future where she could be creative and be producing music.
Maybe a future alongside her best friend who was stellar at writing lyrics. Maybe where her music would be danced to by her soulmate and his friends.
That was what she wanted.
"Heiress you ready," Johnny shouted from the living room, Heiryung grabbing the old backpack as quick as she could.
She shoved her phone in it, seven dollars, a chapstick, a notebook, and a charger. She quickly zipped it up and ran out of the room and skidded into the kitchen, her heels clicking on the floor.
"Jeez I bet the people below us are cursing you out," Ten snickered.
Heiryung laughed before grabbing an apple to which Ten shifted his gaze from.
"I see that you're eating more," he said, "it's good, you're pretty tall for your age and I'm sure I could see your bones."
Heiryung rolled her eyes before following Johnny to his car.
"Good luck Hei," Ten shouted before their apartment door shut.
"Ready," Johnny said, a goofy smile on his face.
"Yeah," she said, "don't really have any other choice not to be."
Johnny nodded before turning on the ignition and shutting off the emergency break and backing up out of his parking spot.
Soon enough they were at the court house.
"I don't know how far I can go," Johnny said as he got out of the car.
Heiryung nodded before turning back around to the front doors of the building.
The two walked in, Johnny doing the most at the front desk.
"Court room six," the receptionist said, "sir' I'm going to have to ask you to wait here."
Johnny stopped following Heiryung and nodded.
Heiryung stopped walking and watched Johnny sit down on a bench. He gave her a small thumbs up.
"I'll be here when you're done," he said.
With that, Heiryung inhaled and turned back away, her heels clicking on the floor.
The only thing that made her feel good was the people poking out of their rooms to see the girl making her way to her court case. Her heels made her feel almost... bad ass. She liked that.
Her hair swayed as she made her way down the tiled floors, her face devoid of emotion.
Finally she made her way to the door, Mrs. Yang standing in front.
When the woman saw Heiryung she smiled.
"You're looking quite beautiful, Heiryung," she said, "like a young lady, I'm sure your mother is proud."
Heiryung smiled before Mrs. Yang went to open the door.
"Excuse my language," she said, "but ready to kick some ass?"
Heiryung smiled and nodded.
Mrs. Yang wasn't as terrible as she thought.
"Yeah."
And with that, the two females walked into the court room, all eyes on them.
The moment we've all been waiting for is coming
