Whoo! This has been in my drafts for freaking months!! And I finally finished it- although I'm a but disappointed in the ending, but I still managed to do it, nonetheless!!

Tw: anxiety, slight mention of sex, fluff, fluff, fluff, and ice cream.

Virgil looked at himself in the mirror. He was wearing a sleeveless purple polka-dotted black dress that had ribbon-like straps tied at the back along with an aesthetic design of a 50's type of blouse with buttons going down to a black bodice around his waist. He was wearing eyeliner and his usual piercings, two dark purple studs on both of his earlobes and one ring on the cartilage. Virgil sighed as he ran a hand through his purple-dyed hair, not caring if he messed it up.

He and Roman agreed to go on a date, their first one actually, despite being together for almost a month, and surprise, surprise, he was anxious about it.

His thoughts went a thousand miles per hour, bombarding Virgil with multiple things that can and might happen during their date, most of which ended up with Roman either breaking up with him or hating him despite Roman reassuring Virgil that he loved him through and through- in more ways than one- and yet Virgil's thoughts always seemed to tell him otherwise. Virgil bit his lip harshly as he shook those thoughts away. No, no, he will not let his anxiety ruin this date for him.

He took in a deep breath and sighed. Roman's most probably waiting for him.

Virgil left his room and made his way to the living room, sighing slightly in relief to see that Roman wasn't there yet. He smiled fondly, knowing that Roman always took a long time to get ready- mostly due to being indecisive with outfits and fussing over little details which made Virgil annoyed but, in reality, Virgil didn't mind it. In fact, he grew fond of the way his boyfriend would spend hours to perfect everything- even if in one of those instances were them just going out to get groceries.

Virgil was snapped out of his thoughts when he felt familiar strong arms wrap around his waist.

"Are you ready to go, my love?" Roman asked, swaying the both of them side-to-side slightly, making Virgil giggle softly. Virgil turned around, not Getting out of Roman's embrace, and faced his boyfriend. He swiftly pecked a soft kiss on his lips and cupped his cheek.

"I could ask you the same," Virgil replied with his signature smirk. Roman feigned offense with a sound that Virgil had dubbed as; "Offended princey noises"

"Well excuse me, emo nightmare, this is our first date outside the walls of this house! I had to put in a huge effort to look this perfect! Unlike you, you flawless, adorable, perfect human being!" Roman defended but ended up complimenting Virgil, soothing Virgil's face with kisses at the end.

Virgil chuckled slightly and shook his head, "You dork, " Virgil said lovingly and tapped Roman's cheek twice, pulling away from the embrace, smiling.

" Yeah, but I'm your dork" Roman reminded as he slid on his bag and slipped his hand into Virgil's. Virgil snorted and smiled, "oh, how could I forget?" Virgil said sarcastically, "c'mon, let's go!" Virgil urged as he pulled Roman towards the door.

Once they were outside and were sure that they've locked the door, they started walking towards their car- it was a nice dark grey car that could fit at least 5 people inside, it was perfect considering their friend group's size.

Once Roman got into the driver's seat, Virgil got into the passenger's seat, and they both buckled up. They started to go to their destination- speaking of which, Virgil didn't know where. Roman never really explicitly said the destination, he just said it was a "nice place".
