3rd person POV

kokichi and rantaro have been dating for a year now but they haven't told anyone instead just leaving hints, And despite having an actual detective in their friend group no one has found out yet. it would be easier with the place they lived was more ok with PDA but alas it isn't. but the others had to find out soon enough. they can't just go around saying that they are just a bunch of guy pals when behind closed doors they are completely head over heels in love with each other.

one day their friends invited them to a shopping mall. neither Kokichi or Rantaro wanted to go but they didn't have anything better to do. kokichi was wearing on an oversized light pink hoodie and baby blue shorts which were a pairing that made rantaro melt "kokichi! rantaro! I'm so glad you came" Kaede said running up to the two standing by the entrance. rantaro waved happily"hi piano freak," Kokichi said lightly teasing her "yeah, yeah short stack. now we just have to wait for miu and Shuichi." "ugh, the whore is coming?" " kokichi what did I say about being nicer" rantaro whispered in kokichi's ear sending a small chill down his spine. "I mean. Yay! the whore is coming!" Kokichi clapped his hands together, rantaro sighed "It could be worse"

Eventually, the others got there. They walked around. kokichi pointing out anything he found cool which was everything. "if this shota keeps looking at useless shit it'll be the night before we even get to a single store," Miu said angrily resisting her urge to push Kokichi into the fountain he was looking at  " you need to stop talking about yourself in the 3rd person miu," Kokichi said not looking away from the fancy fountain. Rantaro walked over besides Kokichi saying something that only they were able to hear "babe we should get going we'll come back later" Kokichi have him a pout fake tears watering up in his eyes "I'll buy you something" "you do that anyways" Rantaro lightly fluttered his lashes he wanted to do more but neither of them wanted that kind of attention. it was still enough to turn kokichi to putty "f-fine but you still have to buy me something"

The whole time it was mostly Miu, Kaede, and Kokichi doing all the shopping Shuichi and Rantaro carrying their bags for them. "eh are you guys almost done? these bags are getting heavier" Shuichi asked "yup almost done dickctive" miu somewhat shouted making the few people in the store look at them. "nehehe who let the pig have a mouth?!" kokichi laughed standing next to rantaro drinking a milkshake. "mm want some? you can have a sip as long as you don't spit in it!" he said shaking the drink in his hand "uh sure" he took it from kokichis hand taking a short sip. "oooooh rantaro and kokichi just indirectly kissed" they heard miu say like a middle schooler when two people accidentally touched hands "you two just might as well start making out in the middle of this store" she jokingly suggested. rantaro shifted uncomfortably putting the drink back in kokichis hand "I think we're good" rantaro said "oh yeah that's only for home" kaede joined in laughing a little.

they finished shopping and were sitting in the food court. rantaro scooted a little closer to kokichi putting his hand on kokichis knee under the table. kokichi side-eyed him in a way that was saying stop that people are looking. even though they was almost nobody in the area they were in and the people who were there weren't even facing them. rantaro didn't care and just moved his hand up to kokichis thigh. kokichi rolled his eyes with a smirk whilst bitting his lip. "hey rantaro didn't you promise to take me back to that fountain?" kokichi questioned looking at him with the most innocent eyes you could give in a situation like this. Rantaro knew he was just trying to give them an excuse to go somewhere. "jeez what's so interesting about that single fountain cockitchy" "nice step up from calling me a virgin so thanks" rantaro muffled a laugh "whatcha laughing bout rantarhoe. was it you who took it from him" miu said. rantaro shook his head and whispered in kokichis ear " it was already gone when I got my hands on you" kokichi choked on air.

"now yes I did promise kokichi that so we'll be back in a little" rantaro got up with kokichi leading him. rantaro saw miu whisper something to kaede and Shuichi causing Shuichi to get flustered and kaede to laugh. when they were out of eyesight rantaro said something " I think I know where you're taking me" "oh do you now" kokichi responded pulling rantaro into a public restroom thanking god no one else was in there before pulling him into the biggest stall. rantaro locked the door before pinning kokichi to a wall "honestly this isn't ideal but it'll do for now" he said lifting kokichi up still against the wall, kokichi put his legs around rantaros waist for support "well what would be ideal" he cupped rantaros face in his hands "probably the only place it's considered ok. home alone no one there to interrupt us or at a love hotel" rantaro said looking kokichi in the eyes "that sounds like you're putting up an offer. are you telling me you want me to go home with you?" he gave rantaro a quick kiss "who's to say" they finally joined in a long passionate and messy kiss even though they've kissed countless times but each time felt like the first time. kokichi put his hands in rantaros hair lightly pulling on it. they finally separated both panting only connected by a string of salvia.

rantaro started nipping at the other's jawline moving down to his neck. kokichi was making soft noises of pleasure before rantaro put a hand over his mouth " we're still technically in public so you better stay quiet" kokichi nodded. rantaro didn't move his hand putting the other up the shorter male's hoodie. he gasped in shock he silently took rantaros hand off his mouth. "I think... that we ... should go back ... before they get... suspicious" he still sounded out of breath. "Agreed" rantaro let go of kokichi. And they made their way back to the table as if nothing happened. "hey Kokichi, rantaro you both are single right?" kaede asked "no" they said at the same time "wait really I'm surprised I didn't notice" Shuichi said," yeah we've been giving hints for how long?" kokichi asked a question that seemed to be aimed at rantaro. "a year"

"wait, wait, wait why are you asking rantarhoe that and why does he know?" Kokichi rolled his eyes "because we're dating dumbass" kaede eyes lit up "oh congrats! also miu I think you owe me something" miu sighed angrily handing her 500 yen.
