 Liam’s POV

“Are you sure you are not going to eat anything?” I asked Elizabeth as we all sat down at our lunch table with our trays.

“Nah, I’m not really that hungry to be honest” Elizabeth shrugged with a small trace of a smile on her lips. “However, I do want a bottle of water. I’ll be right back.” She said getting up from her seat pushing her brown hair with pink streaks behind her ears.

I starred after her as she walked away then turned to face Sophia. “Babe, I’m not saying this because I am judging Elizabeth but do you think she has been getting a bit skinner?” Sophia frowned and turned to look at Elizabeth who was placing a dollar into a vending machine.

“Well, she has been training a lot with Niall.” Sophia whispered with a shrug and continued on eating. “I’m pretty sure we have nothing to worry about. Besides, if something was wrong she would tell us or at least Eleanor would know. Elizabeth can never lie to Eleanor.”

“Yea, you’re right.” I smiled shutting my mouth seeing Elizabeth making her way back to our table. Elizabeth reached down onto the floor picking up her bag taking out a notebook.

“What are you doing Ellie?” Zayn asked setting his juice back down onto his grey tray. Elizabeth looked up at him and sighed.

“Mr. Hawkins asked us to write in our journals for tonight homework.” Elizabeth grumbled and I chuckled.

“Awe, come on Elizabeth. It’s not that bad!” Niall smiled at her placing his arm around her shoulders pulling her into him giving her a hug. Elizabeth smiled.

“Yea, that’s easy for you to say blondie” She teased

“What do you have to write about?” Louis asked, cleaning his mouth with a napkin.

“We have to write about guilt.” I said with a small nod.

“Yea, and I can’t think of anything.” Elizabeth sighed starring down at the black white page of her notebook biting on her pen.

“You’ll think of something.”

“Yea, I don’t think so. I have nothing to be guilty about” She rolled her eyes shaking her head.  I furrowed my eyebrows. What, how can she say that? There has to be something.  I was about to comment on her statement when the school bell rang dismissing us.

“Well, obviously someone has taken residency on planet denial” Sophia whispered to me. I looked down at her and nodded sadly at her, placing my arm around her.

Elizabeth’s POV

The next day in English class, Mr. Hawkins asked us to take out our journals just so he could see that we wrote something. He walked around the class room commenting on several students work. Each step he took closer to me made me more anxious. I stared down at my closed notebook as he stood beside me. I saw him reach with his hand opening my notebook turning a few black spaces looking for some inked lines but there were none.

“Looks like someone had lack of inspiration last night” Mr. Hawkins commented softly as he walked over to his desk.  “Elizabeth, why won’t you come by after school so we can see if we could get your thoughts flowing.”  I starred at Mr. Hawkins impassively giving him a slight nod.
