58.Night Changes

Elizabeth's POV

"Where are you taking me Harry?" I giggle, a blindfold tied around my head.

"You'll see in a second" Harry answers, and I could practically hear his smile in his voice as he held me in his arms.

"Can you at least tell me why you changed my shoes before we got out of the car?" I ask, feeling a bit impatient due to my excitement.  I feel like I have butterflies flying around in the deep part of my stomach making me smile freely like an idiot.

"No, it'll ruin the surprise" he replies. I sighed, knowing the he wasn't going to give in.

Oh my stubborn, yet gorgeous, man.

"Aright, I'm going to put you down now" Harry informs me in a gentle down."But no peeking!" He added gently placing me back on my feet. I giggle and I felt him place his hands on my shoulders.

"Okay I'll be back in a sec. " He whispers and kisses my forehead before I feel his touch no longer there. I knot my fingers together, holding my hands in front of me waiting impatiently.

"No peeking or I'll tickle you to death!" Harry warned in the distance. I roll my eyes knowing thar he can't actually see them.

"I know you're rolling you eyes at me." Harry says. "I'm almost done babe, hold on a sec."

"Okay" I smile. After a beat I felt Harry place his hands on my upper arms.

"Okay are you ready?" Harry whisperes in my ear from behind. I nod and I feel him untieing the blindfold and I start to feel the butterflies in the deep part of my stomach again.

"SURPRISE!" Harry yells removing the blindfold and I gasp.

We were standing in the middle of a frozen pond with Christmas lights hanging above us that ran across to the trees. The tree trunks were also tangled up with lights.

I turn to look at Harry then back at our surroundings feeling like this is all a dream. Harry tugs on my hands an it was then that I look down at my feet and see that my shoes were replaced with ice skates; along with his.

I look up at Harry and he is smiling at me. "Okay, I'll slowly tug you along with me and glance up ok?"
He asks giving my hands a squueze and I nod.

As soon as Harry starts to walk, I look up at the Christmas lights.It was then I realize that small white squares were hanging from the lights on a string. Harry gently makes us turn and now I was able to see the front and I instantly felt like crying. The squares were all of the pictures we have taken together. From our very first date, our movie dates,our days in high school even the pictures that we took the other day when we got here. 

I smile and look back at Harry and he is smiling sheeplish at me.

"Harry, this...this is incredible" I say in awe.

Harry shrugs. " I just want to try to make up for ever awful thing that I done to you." He says wrapping his arms around my waist as I place my hands in his arms.

"Harry, haven't you realized by now that no matter what you do it won't change how I feel about you?" I pause and bit my lip. Harry is starring down an me, unsuredly.

"What is it?" I ask tilting my head to the side frowning up at him.

"There is one more thing i would like to show you" Harry replies and grabs my hand skating us over to the side of the pond. Harry sits on the ground and quickly changes back to his old black pair of shoes that were on the ground before picking me up taking us back to the car.

"Wait, Harry what about our pictures?" I ask

Harry smiles turning on the car. "Don't worry about that babe i have everything planned out"

Harry drove back to the house and immediately smiles seeing the Christmas tree all lit up and a warm fire burning in the living area.

"Babe, stay here for me okay?" Harry asks and i nod. Harry squeezes my hand before walking out and i walked over to sit next to Perrie and Sophia.

"It's about time you showed up!" Perrie smiled.

"Yea, it's Christmas Eve for crying out lout women!" Sophia added and i giggled.

"Where is Eleanor?" I ask glancing aorund the room looking for some sign of her.

"Oh, she just went out to pick up something" Sophia shrugged.

After about half an hour later our conversation got intterupted by Harry walking back into the room.  

"Okay, babe. Come with me" He smiles holding out his hand. I nod and stand up lacing my finger with his. As we step out of the living area to walk into the kitchen the front door clicks open and i turn my head seeing Eleanor walk in with a small pink box.

Eleanor smiles brightly at us. "Oh, i didn't miss it did i?" she asks anxiously.

"No." Harry answers, happily. "You arrived just in time."

"In time for what?" I ask, confused. Eleanor walks over to us and hands Harry the small pink box.

"Here are your pictures back" she states. Pictures? Oh, our pictures!

"Thanks" Harry smiles holding the box on his right hand.

Eleanor narrows her eyes at him. "You are lucky i did not miss this cause if i did i would kick your ass and make you do it again."

Harry laughs walking us into the kitchen placing the small box on the table. He walks over to the glass doors and slides them open stepping outside. I knit my eybrows seeing the boys on stools with microphones in front of them. Niall had his guitar that was held with a strap that hung from aorund his neck.

"Harry what's going on?" I ask, looking up at him. Harry turned his head to look at me biting on his lower lip. Nervously, I think.

"Well, i thought since I read your diary..." He trials. "I thought it was only fair for you to see how i felt when  i was gone" He pauses. "I'm not that good with words but i tried my best and the lads helped so i hope you like it either way." He chuckles and kissed my temple before releasing my hand and walks over to the empty stool that was between Liam and Zayn.

"Sit down" Perrie whispers to me and grabs my hand siting us down with Sophia and Eleanor who were sitting a few feet next to the small fire pit. I leaned back in my chair placing my hands on my lap before glancing up at Harry who gave me a nervous smile before turning to look at Niall.
