20. Night Plans and Confusion

Eleanor’s POV

“Hey you know what we should do?” I asked sitting on Elizabeth’s bed with my legs crossed as she took out clothes to take a bath.

“No, what?” Elizabeth asked looking at me placing her clothes on the bed beside me.

“We should go out!” I said excitedly. “We have not done that in a while; we should all go out and have a few drinks or something.”

“Yea, that’s a good idea” She nodded smiling shyly at me. Elizabeth is a lot of things and one of the main things is shyness. Even though Elizabeth may not come across as that, but deep down she is.

“Oh, great!” I said quickly getting off of her bed. “This is perfect, this will give you time to take a quick bath and I’ll just tell the rest of the gang.” I turned and smiled at Elizabeth before walking out the door.

Elizabeth’s POV

I smiled at Eleanor as she walked out of my room grabbing my clothes off my bed. I am actually very excited to go out tonight, who knows maybe it will be fun.

I walked into the bathroom and turned on the water to fill up the tub, then walked over to the counter and placed my clothes neatly on top. Hmm… maybe I should change my clothes? After all we are going out and this will give enough for the bath tub to fill up.

I grabbed my clothes and walked back to my closet trying to figure out what else to wear. After about ten minutes I finally decided on a plain black dress, I have not worn this dress in a while so why not try it on now?

I made my way back into my bathroom closing the bathroom door then stripped out of my clothes and sank into the water. I sighed and starred at the ceiling letting the warm water relax my muscles. I closed my eyes and leaned back even further.

Liam’s POV

“Okay, let’s just grab Elizabeth and we are good to go” Sophia smiled at me holding my hand as we walked down the hall to Elizabeth’s room. Once we reached her door Eleanor grabbed the spare key that Ellie gave her and unlocked the door. All of us walked in not finding Elizabeth anywhere.

“Elizabeth is still getting ready I think. Her bathroom door is locked.” Sophia said walking back into the living room and sat on the couch.

“So were exactly are we going?” Zayn asked shrugging on his leather jacket that was draped over his shoulder.

“Hmm well.” Niall spoke up crossing my arms over my chest. “I think we should first go to-“

“HELP!” Elizabeth screamed making all of us jump. Niall’s eyes widened and quickly shot up from the couch and ran out of the living room all of us tailing behind him.

Elizabeth’s POV

I opened my eyes after a few minutes decided that I should start washing myself. My eyes widened when I pulled my hands out from underneath the water, red water was rolling down my hands to my wrists. What is this ? Blood? I glanced down and saw that the whole water in my bath tub was red. I knitted my eyebrows not understanding why my water was red. It’s not even my time of the month.

I started to sit up and when I did I felt something hard press down my neck and my head was shoved into the water. I started to fling my arms around trying to grab whoever was holding me down but felt nothing. I coughed, gasping for air when my head popped up from the water glancing around seeing no one.

“HELP!” I screamed before being shoved back into the water.

Niall’s POV

“Hm well. “ I said crossing my arms over my chest. “I think we should first go to-“

“HELP!” Elizabeth screamed making me jump. My eyes widened and I quickly shot up from the couch and ran inside towards the bathroom.

“Elizabeth!” I yelled reaching the door.

“NIALL!” She screamed I turned the knob but it was locked.

“Liam, help me!” I order kicking on the door. Liam grabbed my arm and pulled me back so he could hit his shoulder against the door.

“Wait, she might be naked!” Sophia said walking towards us with wide eyes.

“I don’t give a damn!” I said and Liam hit the door one more time causing it to open. I quickly walked in and glanced around the bathroom dashing over to the bathtub where Elizabeth was underwater flinging her arms around.

“Elizabeth!” I said grabbing her arms as Sophia grabbed a towel holding it out for her. I quickly pulled Elizabeth up and wrapped the towel around her she grabbed me by my upper arms gasping for air.

“Elizabeth what’s wrong?” I asked her pushing her wet hair away from her face.

“Someone was in here” She said darting  her eyes around the bathroom.

“Who?” Sophia asked fixing the towel that was around Elizabeth.

“I don’t know, I didn’t see but… ” She whispered frantically “The water was all red like blood …and then I was suddenly grabbed by my neck and shoved down into the water.”

I wrapped my arm around her waist and carefully led her out of the bathroom avoiding the soapy water that was scattered on the wooden floor. I walked us past Liam and into her bedroom and gently sat her down on her bed. 

“What the hell happened?” Louis yelled walking in with Eleanor at his side. Eleanor quickly released Louis’s hand and walked over to sit next to Elizabeth and started to dry her hair with another towel.

“She was being shoved down under water but she didn’t see anyone.” I said scowling looking over at Elizabeth who was wrapped in a green towel. “Let’s leave the girls so Elizabeth can change.” I said turning around  walking towards the door the boys nodded and followed me out.

“Someone is messing with her” I said as we walked into back into the living room.

“Yea but who?” Liam asked.

“I don’t know” I said pacing back and forth. “However, you and I both know that guardian angels are not allowed to do these types of things. We don’t even have the power to make hallucinations or compel people.

“So you think there is a demon in the academy?”

“There has to be.” I said as if it were a fact. “It’s the only explanation, however, demons are easy to reveal so I find it strange that we haven’t come across one yet.”

“Well, does a demon have to be close in order to do these types of things to a person?” Zayn asked.

“No” Liam said shaking his head. “Not always depends on how powerful they are. However, even if this was the case, if a demon is targeting her I don’t think its Dominic.”

“Why not, Liam?” I asked and stopped pacing around to give him my full undivided attention.

“Dominic already got what he wanted from Harry. He already took his revenge out on Elizabeth by killing her and he has Harry at his side to order him around.” Liam explained. “All Dominic wanted was Harry so he could feel powerful so why would he waste his time on a human when he knows he can’t get anything else form her.”

“That is true.” I nodded with my arms crossed my fingers under my chin looking at the floor. “So then who else is there?” I whispered. I glanced up at Liam and Zayn and they were both looking at me as if the answer was obvious.

“Harry” Zayn mumbled after I wasn’t able to put two and two together.
