Dear readers, I have added a you tube link of the song "Never thought that I could love " by Dan Hill to this chapter. Both Dylan and Ciara will be dancing to this tune.
Ciara woke up to an aromatic smell coming from her kitchen. She found a rose lying on a piece of note on her bedside table. It says,
My lovely Ciara, I have run the hot water in the bath with rose petals for you to enjoy once you wake up. I have also added essential oils of lavender and chamomile to enhance your relaxation. I will be in the kitchen preparing dinner for you.
With Love, Dylan.
Ciara was grinning from cheek to cheek by the time she finished reading the note. " What did I do to ever deserved a man like Dylan" , was her response.
Twenty minutes later, Ciara was strolling into her living room when she caught sight of the romantic embience which Dylan has set up for her. Her dining table was beautifully covered with a royal purple velvety table cloth. There were silver platters on the table to prevent the table cloth from getting dirty. There was a golden colour runner that was placed in the centre of her rectangular table and on it lies a golden candlestick with 3 candles diffusing vanilla essence into the room. There were 12 red rose petals surrounding the base of the candlestick. Even the lightings of her living room have been dimmed down to intensify the ambience.
Dylan walked up to her, carefully lifted her chin to look her in the eye. He took sight of how beautiful Ciara look in her simple Yellow off shoulder cocktail dress. He took her hand into his and gently led her to her seat. He brought out the steak that he had prepared and the caesar salad. Dylan sliced a piece of the steak and placed it into Ciara's mouth. Ciara went speechless, it was fantastic , whom did you learn how to cook from? Dylan was filled with pride upon hearing Ciara's comments, I have always taken interest in watching cooking programs.
After their dinner, Dylan placed a cd into the player and the song, Never Thought That I Could Love by Dan Hill came on.
"This song reveals my true feelings towards you Ciara", and with that he embraced her into a ball room dance. He cupped her cheek and leaned to kiss her on her lips , Ciara felt electric waves passing through her entire being as she opened her mouth to delve deeper into the passionate kiss with Dylan. No one has ever made her feel this way before, she was entirely swept off her feet. What she did not know was she had made Dylan feel the same way about her.
Dylan wanted to take things slow and not rushed into telling her about himself so soon. The dance ended and he carried her into her room where he spent the rest of the night wrapping his arms around her on the bed and drifting into slumber together.
