I awaken with a sudden jolt, I had the worst nightmare. I felt cold sweat streaming down my face. I saw my precious, Ciara lying limp in Nigel's arms, in my dreams Nigel has drained her of her life.

I felt Ciara's legs pressing against mine, I turned to see her beautiful face glowing in the bask of sunlight peering in from the curtains. I could not risk having this dream turn into reality, I will do anything to protect her. Without her, my life is meaningless and I cannot forsee living my eternity without her.

I saw her eyelids fluttering and was greeted by the most lovely hazel colour eyes I have ever seen. I reminded her that she has an appointment with Dr Brett for her chemo session, she groaned at that and said, " when can I stop going for chemotheraphy, it is making me feel worse instead of the reverse." I sighed at her reply but what she said makes sense she is growing weaker and weaker each day. I told her to go to the bath room to get herself ready for her appointment and I will fix something light for her breakfast.

I stepped into her kitchen and made her some butter toast bread with strawberry jam and a glass of cranberry juice. I struggled a little contemplating whether to add a little of my blood into her cranberry juice to give her a temporary boost and help preserve her life for a little longer and maybe that could take her off her chemotheraphy session which she dread going. After much consideration, I bit into my wrist and dripped four drops of my blood into her juice and I used a stirrer to stir it hoping that it will become homogenous enough not for her to discover and taste the difference.

I brought her breakfast into her room and was relieved when I saw her gulped down her juice without any change in expression and finished off her bread.

We discussed about it and finally we reached the consensus and I allowed her to stop going for her chemo and today shall be her last session.

We informed Dr Brett of our decision and he was quite reluctant to consent to it. Seeing that he did not have much of a choice to force his patient as it is her rights to decide for herself, he reluctantly agree but told her that she could come back anytime she feels unwell.

I brought her home to rest after the session and that is when Keith send me a mind link informing me of the importance to meet him back at my castle and that both Vonda and Derek will be there.

I gave Ciara the excuse that my parents needed me back home to discuss some company's issues and that I will be back at four to bring her to the movies. She hesitantly agreed with a slight unhappiness on her face but was quickly changed into excitement when she thought about our movie date tonight.

The moment I am out of her apartment, I immediately dematerialized out of the car park and materialized into my castle.
