Second Chance - Chapter 26

The night before, five rogue vampires were prowling along the streets where all the clubs and pubs were, patiently waiting to target the right type of guys that fit their master's requisite for being a human turn vampire. Their master has given them each specific instructions to  lure young strong men between the aged of twenty to thirty to him. The streets was otherwise quiet apart from the clamorous sound of music blatantly blasting in the clubs and pubs.  The five rogue vampires headed towards the clubs and each went into different clubs and pubs. Within thirty minutes, they managed to effortlessly lure thirty young men into following them. They had used their ability of mind control to successfully lure the men. This ability is just one of the few abilities that any vampire has but the only set back is it could only be used on humans and is powerless if performed on other vampires or mythical creatures. These men got into their own cars and drove towards the direction that the rogue vampires have told them too. They look like a bunch of manipulated robots heading towards an old , creepy looking mansion where their master lies in wait for their arrival.

The rogue vampires appeared before their master and proudly presented their offerings. Their master was pleased with what he saw. He quickly gathered the potion that Vivian has created earlier and fed all the young men with it. These young men still under the power of mind control obediently drank the bitter liquid down their throats. The strong scent of humans flooded the entire house and their heartbeats could be easily pick up by these rogue vampires. Their fangs elongated naturally and felt the thirst for blood calling in their throats. Their master reading their minds, snouted, all of you are supposed to bite and convert these young men into vampires for me and you are not to drain them off their life source. The vampires reluctantly agreed and with that they sank their fangs into the jugular of these men and bit their own wrists and poured adequate vampire's blood into the wounds and seal it back with the flickering of their tongues. The rogue vampires are puzzled with their master's decision to convert these vampires as it would take twenty four hours before they will be awakened as vampires and they will need to feed first before they are strong enough to go into battle and served the purpose.

I saw the question popping up in my minions' heads, hence I quickly address their concern. The potion that they drank earlier was concocted by Vivian , it will expedite the transformation process and they will be awakened in only three hours. This is only possible if the human is young and strong and that is the exact reason why I have asked specifically for that.

The ear splitting loud hisses can be heard down the hallway, the sound that is made by newly created and famished vampires.

It is time, my dear fellow minions. I am your creator and master, you must only bow down to me.  I have made all of you into a race that is above any other races, we are vampires and we are on top of the food chain. I want all of you to go to the clubs and pubs and use your charms and mind control to lure the drunkard humans to the dark alley and drain them off their blood. Remember, humans are the prey and we are the predator.

The young vampires were roaring with thirst as they prowl into the same streets where they were taken but each has no recollection of what has happened to them. They managed to seduce young, wasted women who either wants a free ride home or a partner for a steamy night of rendezvous. Either or , these innocent women are in for nothng but calamity. They are nothing but food to these famished vampires.

The silence in the dark alley was disconcerting and awfully eerie,until  several cacophonic shrieks filled the air, breaking into the silence of the night. The victimized bodies were drained off completely and disposed of at the alley.

The young vampires materialized back into their master's house after their rampageous act and kneeled in front of their master waiting for his next piece of instruction to them.

Well done, my boys, I am pleased with all of you, that nincompoop Michael is definitely going to be furious with what had happened and he is going to have a mind boggling time trying to investigate and explain these to his sickening human counterparts.

I want all of you to know that tomorrow night, we shall launch the attack at the castle and I will personally slain that nincompoop king, queen and Ciara and enthrone myself to the position as king and Vivian shall be my queen. We will seize the opportunity tomorrow as his son the foolish prince has converted a human to be his bride and we vampires will not condone to that and bow down to a human turn vampire princess. I want you to armour yourselves with shields, helmets and swords and go with Vivian to the castle and I will be there to welcome all of you.

My lord, but the castle has been surrounded by a protective shield put up by Vonda, how are we going to set foot on it.

I will take care of it, do not worry and go. I have a special potion to break down the walls of protection but it can only be done if I am inside of the castle which is easy for me. Sounds of rumbustious sinister laughter filled the entire mansion as they got ready for a blood bath.
