I saw a blinding white light glowing at my window, I looked up and was greeted by the loveliest hazel eyes, Ciara it’s you. I saw Ciara smiling at me, she glided to my side. I was overjoyed to see her that I got up instantaneously and enveloped her into an embrace. Why did you leave me? Dylan, I have never left you, I was with you all this while. No you are not, Ciara, you are dead. With that, Dylan pointed to her lifeless body with downcast eyes. Dylan, do not believe what you see, believe in me, in us and in your heart.

Dylan jolted up awake from the loud meretricious sound from the bell. The bell only sounded once which means that the King has won the war but it is not a victorious one as a kinship has perished in the battle.

Dylan heavy laden eye lids fluttered open, revealing a set of crimson and melancholic eyes. He didn’t even know that he has fallen asleep while crying his eyes out. He quickly grabbed Ciara’s hands and shook her but there was no response, he kept shaking and shaking her arms but still there was no response. He finally slumped back to the spot beside her and let out a wilful cry knowing that what he just experienced was nothing but a dream, in reality Ciara is dead.

All of a sudden, he saw the same blinding white light glowing at the window and a white glowing figure emerge from the light and hovered above his bed. For a moment, he thought that he was still dreaming, hence he pinched his hands but when he was hit back by the slight pain, he knew that this is not a dream. It was an angel with wings.

Dear Dylan, your father is a kind man and has done well as a king. It is time for you to step up and take over the throne from your father, in order to relieve him from his duty. It is time for him to enjoy his life with his wife. How am I going to do that, when I just lost my soul mate? I am not in the condition to do anything. Your generation and descendants will be blessed for what Michael has done and the prophecy has mentioned that you were bestowed with two special abilities; you have yet to discover one of them. Think with your heart and Ciara shall be back in your arms again. You are to continue making peace with all races and rule this kingdom in your father’s way. Upon hearing the last words, both the figure and the bright light vanish like a flash without leaving any trace. It was as if they were never there.

Dylan was literally pulling his hair out while he pondered over what the angel just told him.  Suddenly, realization hit him and he looked at his left hand, if his right hand is able to unleash the power of fire, he was wondering what his left hand that could do could bring Ciara back to life.

He gently placed his left hand on Ciara’s chest, concentrated on bringing her back to life, and he felt a surge of electric current flowing through his body towards his left hand. His left hand glowed into a bright blue colour and he felt the electricity flowing through him to Ciara’s heart and pumping it like a defibrillator. He kept doing the motion of pumping with the electricity in his hands and he saw Ciara’s eye lids fluttering and all of a sudden she opened her eyes and sat up in his bed. Dylan, she squealed, you saved my life. The look on Dylan’s face was priceless; a huge wide smile was formed on his sexy lips. He was practically bursting with joy as he lunged into Ciara, enveloping her into such a tight embrace that she stumbled down onto the bed with a giggle.

Dylan immediately sent a mind link to his parents and Keith to announce to all vampires about their victorious victory. Within a few seconds, Dylan’s room was flooded with concern and elated people. His parents, Keith, Kelly, Vonda and Derek were all in his room. The bell outside sounded three times with the sound of trumpets blowing. Everyone in the castle was gladdened by the news that their Princess is back.

After a good one hour of chattering, Dylan finally has Ciara all to himself again when the group left his room for her to rest.

Dylan tilted Ciara’s chin to look her in the eye and said, never leave me again. I do not want to go through all this pain of ever loosing you again. Honey, I promised that I will never leave you again. Dylan cradled her in his arms and the both of them drifted off into blissful slumber.

Four hours later, Dylan woke up and found the side of his bed empty, he started to panic. He called out Ciara, Ciara where are you? Ciara strolled over from the balcony, yes honey. I was just looking at the beautiful garden and wonder if I could go for a stroll in the garden with you. Sure darling but I do not want you to exhaust yourself, you need more rest now to recuperate fast and be in your pink of health for the preparation of our wedding. She squealed with joy like a little child at the mention of wedding.

I was intending to ask both the designer and the tailor to come down to the castle tomorrow for taking your measurements and to show you some of the designs for the wedding gowns that they have drawn up for you. If you managed to find a design to your satisfaction, they can get it done by four days and we will be married by this weekend. Ciara was on cloud nine upon hearing this piece of news that she took Dylan’s mouth into hers and kiss him hungrily.

They went for a short stroll in the garden and Dylan quickly brought her back into the castle when he saw a notch of tiredness in her.

Tiffany informed them that Michael has decided to invite Derek and his packs, Vonda and Kelly over for dinner tonight to thank them for their help.

Tiffany has gotten both her chefs, Celine and Amber to cook up a feast for their family, friends , knights, guards and staffs.

Dinner is two hours from now, Ciara wanted to offer her help but Tiffany was insistence in her decision of not letting her help but asking her to rest instead. Ciara was left with no choice but to go back up to Dylan’s room to rest and get ready for the dinner later.

Ciara decided to head down for the dinner in a simple silver colour cocktail dress with diamond studs. She looked gorgeous even in a simple dress with her hair not done up but hanging loosely down the frame of her heart shaped face.

The foods were sumptuous and toothsome and one could hear the cheerful, light-hearted chattering in the entire castle as everyone celebrated their King’s victory.
