Dylan woke up the next morning with Ciara in his arms. He was carefully sliding out of the bed , not wanting to wake his sleeping beauty. He left her a note by her bed side telling her that he will be going out to get her some breakfast in case she wakes up and finds him not around.
Dylan was gleefully walking down the streets like a young teenager who is in love. He was intending to make today a special day, their first date.
He walked into a deli shop and purchased 2 breakfast sets consisting of butter waffles, beef jerkies, cheese sausages and omelettes.
Next, he stepped into a shop selling gowns and evening sandals and accessories. He was a fussy shopper when it comes to shopping for his beloved Ciara. The stall assistant was getting a little impatient with him, when he finally caught sight of an elegant looking gown. The gown was strawberry pink in colour, has an empire cut with a white silky ribbon that ties to a bow in front with the ends flowing nicely by the side that compliments the ruffles below the waist. There are these little glittering sequins sewn onto each ruffle making the bottom of the gown sparkle under the lights.
He decided to go ahead with this gown and bought a matching evening sandals with glitters and a black clutch with gold glitters.
He was pleased with all his purchases and is gleaming with joy while making his way back to Ciara's apartment.
Ciara woke up , read the note and was delighted to spend another day with Dylan. Everyday was a bonus to her as she knew that her end is drawing nearer.
She went into her bathroom, took a quick shower and stood in front of her closet staring at her clothes as she couldn't decide on what to wear. She needs to wear something comfortable as Dylan will be bringing her to the hospital for her chemotheraphy session after breakfast.
Eventually, she decided on wearing her white skinny jeans with a sleeveless lilac blouse that has a sharktail hem. She decided to bring along her brown trench coat, as the weather has been rather erractic lately.
Dylan pressed the door bell and waited for Ciara to come. The second the door was ajar, the aromatic smell of her breakfast came diffusing into her home.
They fed each other their breakfast and Dylan became nervous suddenly. He paused for a moment , cupped Ciara's cheek with his hands and gazed into her beautiful hazel colour eyes and asked if she would go on a date with him tonight at 6. She nodded her head and said yes.
"Lets go to the hospital now to see Dr Brett for your chemo, and I will fetched you home to prepare for our wonderful evening together".
Ciara noticed the shopping bags that was placed in her living room and asked what are the contents of the bags. " Those , my dear are for you, but don't open them now, please open it later when you need to dress up for our date tonight".
Ciara was shrieking with joy like a little girl. She gave Dylan a big hug and a deep kiss.
