"we thought you guys were never going to come!" my mom replies as she opens the door. "you look beautiful by the way dear" she adds, pulling cindy into a hug and kissing my cheek. "jack was held up in the studio longer than we thought, but thank you so much. you do too!" cindy replies as she hugs her back. "she definitely loves you more"i chuckles at the fact that she hugged her first before me, her own son. i don't blame her though, who couldn't love cindy. "well she does listen" she teases, pulling him into a hug while i close the door behind us. "your dads outside talking to charles about a new construction site, he should be done soon. i'm just now finishing up dinner so why don't you two set the table" she smiles. we both nod and do as she says by heading towards the kitchen and grabbing four of everything.

"did you bring the ultrasound pictures?" cindy quietly whispers over to me, low enough to where we were the only ones that could hear. "yes, they're in my back pocket" i smile, setting down a plate at each spot someone will be sitting at. "you better not have put any crinkles in the paper" she warns, pointing over at me. you could tell cindy wanted to keep them neat. everything she has she likes to keep neat, but this one... i don't want it to be messed up at all. "baby, i promise i'm being extra careful" i smile over at her, in which she just nods and i glance outside to see my dad walking towards the sliding glass doors with a smile on his face. "well if it isn't the light of my sons life" he smiles, opening his arms towards her for a hug. "she sure is" i laughs at the cheesiness of my dads line. "we've missed you two. how have you guys been?"

"david! we aren't talking to them like that until i'm in there!" katherine instructs from the kitchen causing us all to chuckle. david moves his pointer finger in a circle near his temple indicating that she was crazy before walking in there with her. "they seem like they're in great moods... this is going to be perfect" she smiles over at me. i let out a small sigh. no this won't be perfect. i'll get the lecture from my dad on how crazy i am or we are for going through with this but my moms a different story. she'll just be glad she's getting another grandkid. she always talked about how excited she is for me to finally have kids, i just don't think she meant this soon. i'm hoping she'll be the light of the situation and bring my dad down to earth on the subject. "let's hope" i smile back.

to me, i'm actually growing more and more excited everyday. literally just yesterday was the first appointment and i can't wait for the next one. i'm literally counting down the days. i can't wait to see how much bigger our baby is. doctor ramsey said our baby would be two times the size it just was yesterday with in a week. if that's not exciting i don't know what is. who doesn't want to see how big their damn child has gotten in a week. i know i definitely do.

"okay guys! you take a seat and we'll bring all the food!" my mom cheers excitedly. "mom, we can help you. we don't mind" i chuckle. "no, no, no. you are our guests so we will be setting the food at the table" she smiles, setting down the rolls and mashed potatoes down on one end while my dad sets down the green bean casserole that cindy absolutely loves and the ham. "we're just going to use some of the thanksgiving left overs" she tells us with a wink. "this is perfect" cindy groans, eyeing the green bean casserole. "i've been craving it like crazy!" she points to it and my mom laughs. "we have plenty, i'll be sure to send you guys home with some and probably even more. i always over cook on thanksgiving" she smiles at cindy. "no honey, you just always over cook" my dad shakes his head. "i'm not complaining though. the more the merrier." he saves himself i just take a sip of the water in my cup and my mom clears her throat.
