"wow it's beautiful" i gasp as i look at the cabin we had all pitched in money for. it reminded me of the time i had spent in killarney. the park was beautiful. the look the cabin gives off looks like the one i had rented while i stayed there. i look down at the bracelet on my wrist and at the small leaf charm i had gotten that resembled the ones all on the ground during the fall i was there. i smile as i think about it. i can't help but think this vacation is going to be just as fun and memorable as killarney was.
"we did a good job at picking it out." sam chuckles, looking up at it through the windshield. "we really did" nia smiles.

nia and sam were the ones that chose the cabin. the jacks and i bought all of the food and then nate bought the drinks. in my opinion i think he over did it just a little, but with this group you never know. when they drink... they drink. my attention is taken away from the house when a grey car pulls up next to us. the driver was jack but it was reginas car. driving wouldn't kill her. i slightly roll my eyes as i see them peck each other's lips. "i'm excited to see the inside" nate says excitedly as he unbuckles his seat belt. "me too" i fake smile, seeing her was a complete buzz kill. "race you inside?" he raises his eyebrows making me laugh some at how he still acts like a kid. with out saying anything i unbuckle my seat belt so maybe i could get a head start since he's fast, but he was quick to open the door and start sprinting. when i'm finally out he's already a few feet ahead of me and already making his way down the rocky path to the cabin. "hey slow down!" i laugh, knowing it wouldn't work but it was worth a try.

when i'm right behind him he slows down and let's me in front of him, making me smile at how i was winning. out of nowhere he grabs my waist and throws me over his shoulder. "this was not part of the rules" i laugh at him, crossing my arms as i stare down at the ground below me. "we never made any rules"he sighs, still standing with me thrown over his shoulder. "awe how cute" i hear regina pry as i see her walk past nate and i out of the corner of my eye. "baby we should do that" she adds, emphasizing the pet name of her statement. "we could, but i'm kind of carrying all of your bags" he states, you could hear the annoyance and aggregation in his tone. i let out a small laugh at it and groan as nate starts to walk towards the front door.

"all of the blood is going to rush to my head." i try to convince him to put me down but i hear him laugh and feel his head shake due to the side of my thigh being right next to it. "fine, can't have you dying on us yet. the alcohol isn't even out yet." he gives in making me laugh and i feel him put me back down on my feet. when i look up my eyes instantly meet jacks. it was like he was waiting for it to happen from how hard it felt like he was staring just now. i ignore it and look over at nate with a smile. "it's always about alcohol with you." i tease him earning a shrug. "damn sam hurry up, it's not like you have the key or anything" nate shouts at nia and sam who were slowly making their way over to us. "he's going to walk slower or something." i laugh, thinking about how much of a sam move that would be.

"it's kind of chilly" regina whines, looking over at jack. it's officially the time of they year when it's warm during the day but you'll need a light jacket at night. he looks at her outfit and sighs. "i told you to put on something other than that." he laughs at her while she smiles. "You liked the outfit on me when you bought it though." she raises her eyebrows causing me to slightly roll my eyes at her words. "doesn't mean you have to wear it all the time." he says blatantly. i couldn't help but let out a chuckle but i quickly stop when i realize that she wears it because he liked it. i remember the days that i did that every once in a while. he told me i looked good in red, black and blue so i wore those colors as much as i could... so i know where she's coming from.

she stays quiet causing me to sigh. "i think it's a cute outfit." i admit, trying to be the bigger person and cheer her up some. we're going to be with each other for almost a week and on top of that, she's dating jack. we'll need to be on each other's good side. in plus it is a cute outfit, there's no denying that. the pink was good for her skin tone. she gives me a dry thanks making me regret even saying it but there was no taking it back now. i mean i could but it wouldn't change anything, it's already been said out loud.

when sam and nia are finally up by the front door, sam quickly unlocks it and we go in. all of our eyes immediately roam the area and i fall in love. it was all perfect. it was actually beautiful. "wow" i let out in awe. "this is great" regina smiles as she looks up at jack. "so there's four rooms. one with a king size bed, one with a queen, the other with two twins and the last one has a bunk bed." nia explains. "you and sam should get the king size." nate speaks up causing me to quickly nod in agreement. "i guess you two would want the queen?" i suggest, looking over at jack and regina. "that sounds good... unless you two were wanting it" regina speaks up, pointing between nate and i.

we both exchange eye contact while furrowing our eyebrows, wondering what she meant. "no we're fine" i answer. "johnsons going to want the twin bed room." jack speaks up for him since he wasn't here yet. "i guess me and you are bunking together" nate shrugs, throwing his arm over my shoulder as i let out a laugh. "week long sleep over" i smile before glancing over at jack since i could feel his stare. he doesn't bother to look away after her realizes i caught him staring. his eyes eyes just go from mine and straight over to nate's arm on my shoulder. he's always staring it down when he does it.

"well i guess we have the rooms figured out." he says, holding his gaze on nates arm still. "we should just get settled tonight. i'm lowkey kind of tired." nia sighs, you could tell from the tone of her voice she was holding back a yawn. i don't blame her, it was a long drive from omaha.

"i'm down with that"

so small chapter to get the week started, i promise it gets more interesting. ;)
