"Alright! L/n-san, please join the Karasuno Association team!" Coach Ukai says as Hinata pouts as he wanted to play with you.

"R-right now?" You ask.

"Yes. Right now."

You totally didn't think there was even a possibility of you playing again. Let alone with Karasuno's boys' team. It made you happy and excited but also nervous that you might mess up. This is your first match after that incident after all. You take your jacket off, revealing a plain, white, loose shirt. You also take your pants off, making the boys do their best to look away.

You were now left with your cycling shorts. They have never seen you wearing only shorts other than Kageyama but now looking at you, it would be make sense that you play a sport of some kind. Your legs were very muscular and your overall physique looked very athletic. You soon see Kageyama rush to your side. He suddenly gives you some knee pads. But before you could say thank you, he ran to avoid your contact because he was blushing. He stands beside Hinata who was staring at him.

"W-what?" Kageyama managed to say.

"Does Kageyama-kun actually have a heart?" He says making him slap him very hard.

You smiled. You didn't need to be afraid. You were with this team. You run to court and breathe in. The moment you stepped past the back line of the court, the aura changed. The heat of the game and the excitement of everyone.

"Alright! Let's have a good game!" Coach Ukai says as he blows the whistle.

The game was going well with you receiving here and there until Sugawara calls for you.

"L/n!" He screams as he tosses. Your first spike after that incident. The blockers jump but you pause for a little bit before jumping and spiking. You hit the rear end wherein there was no player to receive. You landed on your feet as they all screamed.

"W-what was that?" Hinata asks you.

"An A-Quick!" Sugawara says while smiling at you. You smile back at him.

"I don't think I can tear the wall of 3 blockers especially with you lot as the blockers so I just have to find a way to avoid them." You say with a smile. The Karasuno Association Team gives you a thumbs up.

"That was amazing! It's a very basic tactic but you used it in the best time possible," One of them tells you.

"You hear that Hinata? You should be more like her." Kageyama says.

"I-I would if I could."

You smile but Coach Ukai blows the whistle once more and you realize it was your time to serve.

"Ugh crap," Kageyama says.

"Hm?" Hinata asks.

"Her serves are hard to receive."

Iwaizumi and Oikawa have told you many times before that your serves were strong. Even almost as equal as Oikawa's but you could beat his when it comes to your ball control. Your serves weren't that strong but you could aim it to wherever you wanted it to hit. Whenever you would serve in a official match, you would scare the opposing team as they would call your serves "monster".

You heard the whistle being blown so you throw the ball up in the air and let your arms flow behind you. You jump and hit the ball directing to Kageyama who was too distracted and noticed the ball coming to him too late that he received the ball. With him being the first touch, he couldn't set the ball so Daichi was forced to do so. He tosses it to Hinata but the ball was sent directly to Sugawara who won't be able to set the ball. The receive was long but it was directed to you. Before anyone could do anything, you scream.

"I got it! Asahi-san!" You say.

"She won't be able to do it can she?" Takeda-sensei tells Coach Ukai as you were almost at the edge of the right side of the court while he was on the left.

"Unless she does a super long set from there she-," Coach Ukai wasn't able to finish what he was saying when he saw you jump and set the ball from there. The ball came for Asahi, slow enough for him to catch on but fast enough for him to be ahead of the blockers. Asahi spikes even before the blockers reach the peak of the net and your team scores another point.

The game went on with your team winning and with many emotional moments. Athletes are usually always seen as strong but there you realized that you weren't alone and everyone is fighting their own battles. The team formed a circle and put their hands together and you watch as you take as you take a gulp from your water bottle.

"L/n-san!" Daichi calls to you so go near them.

"You're part of the team too." Sugawara says as he makes space for you to join the huddle.

"Karasuno...Fight!" It felt great being part of a team again. You missed it. The feeling that you belonged somewhere and that you were needed. The boys go to their locker room to change as Kageyama and Hinata stay for a while longer. You go back to your bag as you realized something. You don't have an extra shirt. You approach Kageyama and whispered to him.

"M-my shirt?" He says softly.

"If it's alright with you, that is. I'll return it to you, I swear. I'll wash it too!" You say as Kageyama and Hinata put the balls back into their place and make their way to the boys' locker room as well.

You sort of forgot about it being a boys' locker room and went in instead. You were greeted by the flustered faces of the volleyball team.

"What's the matter with you guys? Have you never been naked with a girl before?" You ask as all of them blew a fuse. Kageyama extends his hand and gives you his shirt as you make your way to a nearby comfort room to change. You go back to the gym to get your bag and wait for Kageyama.

Kageyema enters the gym with Hinata but as soon as he saw you sitting on the bench and looking at your phone, wearing his shirt, he had to stop and catch his breath. You really are beautiful.

"L/n-san! Let's go!" Hinata says as you all walk home. Soon, you and Kageyama were left alone.

"Why did you never tell me what happened with Oikawa-san?" He finally broke the silence.

"It's just that... we were both dealing with our own problems, you know? We lost contact after Oikawa made me stop talking to you and it was hard to reach you again."

"Yes, I get that but despite me going through that, I could've helped you. It just makes me sad that you had to go through all that alone." He says.

"It makes me sad that we both had to go through that alone. But now, I'm just happy and grateful that we met again and that we are getting closer." You say and pause for a moment.

"You never have to go through anything alone again, Kageyama-kun," You continue.
