26: chill pill

You were talking with Yachi in the classroom when your teacher suddenly calls you.

"Please write this on the board. And everyone, you may take a break." She says as some of the others bow at her and then proceed to go out of the classroom.

You look at the paper and sigh. You weren't even the class secretary why the hell was she making you do this?

"Do you want me to do it f/n? I'm the class secretary anyway." Yachi says as you politely say no.

You start writing on the board but then you suddenly felt someone wrap their arms around you. By instinct, you hit them with your elbow, earning a groan from your harasser. You turn around to realize that this harasser was actually Kageyama.

"Oh my God! I'm so sorry!" You say as Kageyama tries to catch his breath while gripping onto his stomach.

"I-I searched and Google said that this is one of the most romantic things someone can do." He says as you smile but also feel sorry for him.

"I really am sorry! I didn't know it was you!" You say, whilst rubbing his stomach.

"That was a very stupid move, Kageyama-kun." Hinata says, earning a punch from Kageyama.

"I thought it was sweet, truly. But it's just that I'm not used to those things anymore. I promise it won't happen again." You say. You continue writing on the board as the bell suddenly rang. Time really does go by really fast when you're with someone you love. Kageyama says goodbye to you by planting a kiss on your cheek.

"I'll see you later, babe." He says then turns around quickly after saying the last word to hide his embarrassment while you froze on the spot due to getting flustered.

The day went on fast and you were extremely excited to see Kageyama again. You were greeted by all the boys but Kageyama and Hinata were nowhere to be seen.

"L/n-san, is Kageyama going to be late?" Daichi asks you while you just shrug. It was so unlike them to be late. Soon, the two enter the gym, out of breath.

"Sorry we're late!" The two suddenly bow to apologize.

"Why are you two late?" Ukai asks the two.

"Someone confessed to Kageyama-kun! She was really cute but Kageyama reje-," Hinata starts but was soon grabbed by Kageyama by the ear. An irk mark could be seen on your forehead.

"Shut up, Hinata!" Kageyama tells him.

"Oh? Is our talented setter a heartthrob?" Ukai teases making Nishinoya and Tanaka complain and get mad at Kageyama.

Suddenly, Sugawara calls for you.

"L/n-san! There are boys looking for you again!" He says as you frown.

"Tell them I died." You reply back making Sugawara laugh. He was about to tell the boys to come again some other time but was greeted by Kageyama.

"Get lost! Isn't it obvious she doesn't like you?" Kageyama says.

"That's kinda harsh Kageyama. Calm down." Sugawara says.

"I'm only saying the truth. Now, I don't want to see your faces ever again." He says, going back inside scaring the poor boys holding flowers for you. You laugh as you always thought you get jealous easily when Kageyama was much much worse than you.

"I'm sorry I said that in front of you l/n-san." Hinata tells you while scratching the back of his head.

"Don't worry about it. I tend to suppress my emotions easily regarding those things. Just a reminder, I dated a huge heartthrob. If I got jealous too easily, it can cause a huge problem in our relationship. So I should do the same for Kageyama." You say giving Hinata a reassuring smile.

Practice ends but Kageyama and Hinata demanded to stay a little bit longer which meant you had to stay a little bit longer.

"I just have to go change. Are you gonna be fine Yachi?" You ask Yachi as she was asked to throw some balls.

"Yup! You don't have to worry about anything." She says as you walk to the girls' club room. You took your t-shirt off to change into a different one. You were starting to tie your hair up when suddenly, you heard Yachi call you.

"F-F/n!! Kageyama and Hinata are fighting! They're gonna kill each other!" She tells you as your eyes widen in surprise.

"I'll do my best to deal with this but try to see if you could call anyone else too!!" She nods as you run to the gym. You see the two at each other's throats and throwing punches at each other.

"Stop! Stop that!" You say trying to break the two, but you unintentionally got hit too. They both stop for a bit but then fought again after blaming each other. You stood up again to try to break it off but you saw Tanaka rushing towards them and beat them both up just to break them off.

"F/n! Are you okay?" Yachi asks as she saw your nose bleeding.

"O-oh, yeah I'm fine." You say as you took a handkerchief out of your pocket to wipe off the blood.

"Oh my god! What happened to your pretty nose?!" Tanaka says getting the attention of the two boys.

"Shit! F/n!" Kageyama says running to you.

"I'm fine, don't worry about me." You say as you wipe the blood from your nose.

"But try to fight in front of me again, and you two would be the ones getting a nosebleed." You say as the two gulp and bow down to apologize.

You and Kageyama start walking outside and make your way home. He was trying to find the words to say but he just didn't know what those words were.

"At least now we're really even." You say as you remember that time he got a nose bleed because of you.

"I'm sorry," He says.

"It's normal between teammates to fight. But you shouldn't be apologizing to me. Just make sure that you get your crap together before the spring tournament." You say as you come into a halt.

"Make sure to consider his feelings too. Communication is essential. Not just in relationships but when you are in a team as well." You say as he looked down, too embarrassed to look you in the eye.

"Good night, Tobio." You say as you plant a kiss on his cheek. You really knew how to make him feel better. You were his chill pill.
