22: study session

Today was a rest day due to everyone preparing for the upcoming exams. It was a rest day and yet, you were so sleepy. You yawned as you made your way to the vending machine but yet again, you were having a hard time deciding what to buy. Suddenly, someone pressed the button for a yogurt.

"Oy! My money was still in there!" You say but you turn to see Kageyama who took the yogurt and gave it to you.

"Just so you know, you always stare at the vending machine but you always end up with just yogurt." He says.

"You do the same with milk tho! Plus at least I don't have that look on my face whenever I can't decide." You say with a chuckle.

"What face?" He asks as you imitate his face earning a loud 'huh?' from him. Everyone looked at you two as they thought you were picking a fight with each other. But soon, you erupted into laughter and he did too, earning weird looks from people passing by. You suddenly ran away from him making him chase you. And with that, you were once again wide awake and energized.

It was finally time to go home but you were suddenly reminded of how you would help the two boys with their studies. They waited for you outside your classroom and made the decision of just studying at your place.

"Where are your parents, l/n-san?" Kageyama asks you.

"Oy Kageyama, that's not a question you should just suddenly ask." Hinata says.

"Oh no! It's okay. They're just on a business trip. We're an alright family. They're just both really really busy." You say as you arrive at your house.

You enter your home to be greeted by your small puppy.

"Huh? I didn't see that puppy last Saturday." Kageyama says.

"You were here last Saturday?!" Hinata mentions or screams at him but you both ignore his question.

"Oh he was getting groomed when you came. I took him home after the shift." You say as you lead them upstairs to your room.

"Sorry if my room is a bit messy," You say sheepishly as you opened the door.

Your room was simple and yet it feels like it could reveal so many stories. Stories about your past and stories about your secrets. Kageyama set his bag down on the floor to see the framed picture of you and Oikawa that lights up by your bedside table. You see Kageyama stare at it as you rush to get it and throw it in the bin.

"I forgot that was there. That doesn't even light up anymore." You say as you plop down onto your bed, making your skirt fly up a little bit revealing your underwear.

"O-oy l/n! Just a reminder that we're here." Kageyama says as Hinata just closes his eyes.

"Alright, alright. Let's start."

It has already been 2 hours of you studying with two boys and you were actually growing a little bit tired. You were in class 5 not necessarily because you study a lot but it just so happens that you were smart, but just really lazy. Suddenly, Hinata gets up from his position and gets his bag.

"Oy where are you going?" Kageyama asks him.

"My mom just messaged me that my sister is sick. I think I have to go home now." Hinata says as he suddenly rushes out your room.

"But tomorrow's the exam!"

"Bye l/n-san! Bye Kageyama-kun!" He last says as all you heard was him going down the stairs and closing the door behind him.

"I'm getting sleepy." You say as you lie on your bed again.

"You're still teaching me." Kageyama says as he leans on the foot of your bed where your head was. Your entire room just smelled like you. And it showed all the parts of you. He wanted to untangle and see those parts if you'd let him.

He was trying to memorize words, closing his eyes and mumbling them. Suddenly, you rest your head on his shoulder and wrap your arms around him. He suddenly flinches.

"Stop studying. Let's sleep." You say as you suddenly plant a kiss on the back of his neck. He gulps at your touch. You give him another and another until his breathing was starting to get heavy. His feelings couldn't be explained. The feeling was hot but also chilly at the same time. Every kiss you plant and the feeling of your hot breath hitting his neck sends him chills down his spine. He was savoring the moment and has soon forgotten about the reviewer he was holding onto. Realization struck him and he suddenly stood up, surprising you.

"Am I just a joke to you? Am I just someone you want to toy with?!" He screams at you.

"W-what are you talking about?"

"I have feelings, f/n and I have no interest in being a rebound." He says as he picks up his bag and storms out your room. You run after him, whilst calling his name.

"Wait! Wait Tobio! Let me explain!" You kept calling for him but he couldn't hear you. He didn't want to hear you and soon, he was nowhere to be seen.
