24: what the hell? i'm in hell

"Iwa-chan have you seen f/n?" Oikawa asks Iwaizumi while taking a sip from his water bottle as they take a break from all the matches.

"Apparently, she was taken to the clinic." He says and Oikawa spat the water out of his mouth.

"W-what?! What the hell happened?!" Oikawa asks him furiously, wanting to go as fast as he could to the clinic to see how you were doing.

"Remember how f/n is carsick?" He asks him.

"Yes, of course. I used to always have a plastic bag ready inside my bag." Oikawa says.

"It's still in your bag though." Iwaizumi says as he was reminded of seeing one in the pockets of Oikawa's bag.

"W-well maybe I just forgot to take them out." Oikawa says.

"Oh come on. You're still not ready to let her go. What are we even still doing here if you are ready?" Iwaizumi says making Oikawa sigh.

"I have no intention of hiding that. In fact, I would like to make it as obvious as possible." Oikawa says and suddenly, the gym doors sprung open revealing Hinata and Kageyama being fashionably late.

"Just when I was relieved he wasn't here." Oikawa huffs.

"Ah I'm glad you two made it." Coach Ukai tells the two. Kageyama and Hinata change into proper attires and set their bags down. He scans the gym but you were nowhere in sight. He gulped as he saw Oikawa and Kuroo in the same gym but you weren't there. Suddenly, Sugawara comes near him.

"L/n-san is in the clinic." He whispers to him making him jump.

"Huh?! What happened to her?!" He says, quite loudly than how he would've wanted to say it so he clears his throat in embarrassment.

"Apparently, l/n-san is carsick so all she needs to do is rest and eat. Don't worry though, she'll be fine." Sugawara says with a smile.

"Who says I'm worried? She's useless to us now as she's sick." Kageyama says with a huff as he crossed his arms.

"Useless? What do you mean useless?" Coach Ukai says as he takes a notebook out of his bag.

"This notebook contains combos and quicks she researched on and came up with that she wanted to try this training week. I don't know what's going on with you two but don't just say those words that carelessly. She isn't useless." Ukai says making Kageyama wince. Of course he knew you weren't useless. You're important to him and he needs you, he's aware of that.

As soon as they stepped into the court, the entire energy of Karasuno changed. Now that they were complete, their strengths complemented each other very well. They did lose the match but they gave them one hell of a game.

"One lap of diving drills!" Daichi claps and tells them.

Soon Kageyama spotted Yachi on her way out.

"Yachi-san, are you on your way to see f/n?" He asks her.

"Ah yes. Why? You want to come with me?" She asks him as he flinches even mumbling a little bit but in the end he just nods. They made their way to clinic and Kageyama was growing with worry. They said you only needed to rest and he knew that you weren't going to die so why was he so damn worried?

As soon as they've reached the outside of the clinic, there were three boys standing outside.

"The hell are you doing here? No pets are allowed in here." Kuroo says to Oikawa.

"Excuse me." Kageyama says to the two as he entered the clinic.

"Damn it." Oikawa says to Iwaizumi who was just standing there. Kageyama walks past them without any care about what they were talking about. He just wanted to see you well. They asked the nurse where you were and pointed to your direction. Your bed was covered with the curtain. The 3 boys have finally caught up with them as Kageyama slowly opens the curtain revealing you, listening to music while creating tactics in your notebook. You were bobbing your head to the music and even humming a little bit.

The three boys all 'tsk'-ed in unison at the sight of you. You were too cute to be true. Suddenly Yachi taps your shoulder. As soon as you saw her you quickly stood up and hugged her.

"I wanted to get out of here already but they didn't let me." You say with a pout. But then your eyes were met by Oikawa's.

"The hell are you doing here?" You ask him.

"Just wanted to check on you." Oikawa says.

"Let's go Iwa-chan. I'm just glad my f/n-chan is safe and well." He says as him and Iwaizumi make their way out.

"Get well soon f/n." Iwaizumi says before going out of the clinic itself.

"Strange. That's very unlike him." You thought.

"I brought you this." Kuroo says to snap you out of your thoughts. He sets a yogurt on your hand and your eyes sparkled making Kuroo flustered at the sight of you.

"Oh my! Is this that yogurt brand that is only available in one store here in Tokyo?!" You say to him as you stare at him with glee as Kuroo was trying to hard his blush.

"U-Uh yes but I guess you don't remember huh?" He asks her as he scratches the back of neck sheepishly.

"What do you mean? Of course I remember! We first met when we both went to that store with our parents and there was only one of this left because it was that unique. I was about to grab it but you did too and we ended up fighting. But our parents suggested we share it because they knew each other." You say with a smile opening the yogurt drink.

"I'm glad you remember f/n-sama." He says as he was about to get out of the clinic.

"What? Where are you going? Wanna share this again?" You ask making him flustered at your last question.

"I would love to but I am the Captain of Nekoma and I'm gonna practice with Bokuto." He says as he waves on his way out.

"Good to see you here Tobio. I guess the plan worked with Tanaka's sister, huh?" You ask as he was just there, quiet and avoiding your gaze.

"I should go." Yachi says, leaving you two alone.

"Listen, Kageyama. You didn't even give me a chance to explain. I'm sorry if it came off that way that I was using you as a rebound." You start but he was still quiet so you grabbed his hand and moved a little bit to give him space to sit beside you on your bed and he did.

"It's just that I don't know how to explain it. These feelings. I'm scared of-." You were cut off.

"I like you f/n. Very much. Too much, even. But I like you."
