The matches went on quickly. It really is a bumpy road to the top. It was a struggle for the team to continue on as they were all reaching their peak but they couldn't give up. They were finally here. Only a few steps and they would have reached their goal. It was time for the Seijoh match.

"Oikawa-kun! Goodluck!" Female screams could be heard from the bleachers which made some of the members feel a little bit discouraged so you felt like it was time.

You put a skirt on top of pants which made everyone curious of what you were doing. You soon removed your pants, leaving you with a short skirt and your Karasuno jacket. You unzipped your jacket slowly to reveal you wearing a Karasuno uniform with the #13. You picked up your pom poms and fixed your hair a bit. You breathed in deeply and turned around to the boys staring at you and blushing like fools.

"Karasuno...Fight!" You scream and did a little pose for them. It was then filled with silence as you turn around embarrassed but then they all started screaming and the others even started to tear up.

"Our coach is so cute!"

"We are so lucky!"

"Take that Oikawa! Bleh!"

You smile as they all give you a thumbs up and obviously one of them was staring at you much more than they would like to admit.

"That girl is cute." Yahaba says with his eyes wide and while blushing. Oikawa turns to see you strike a pose for your team.

"You shouldn't have said that." Iwaizumi says as Yahaba suddenly felt a ball hit his head. He looked back to see Oikawa with a dark aura surrounding him.

"Eyes off my girlfriend." He says.

"Ex-girlfriend." Iwaizumi corrects him.

"How dare you ruin this for me Iwa-chan! She's so cute I just want to-,"

"Just saying the truth Oikawa."

"She's never even done something like that for me before. What is it with that Karasuno?"

"Oy, don't let her distract you okay? This is still a match."

"Oh you have no idea how I want to destroy them much more now!"

You put your Karasuno jacket back on as the the whistle got blown. Your team lost. You were so close and gave Seijoh one hell of a game. You knew that for a moment there, the opposing team thought that you were going to win as your team thought you were going to win.

This isn't the end, though.

You watch as your team walks out of the court as you see other players get ready for their own matches. You were trying so hard to think of how to cheer the team up as you were handing them water bottles and then you felt a hand on your shoulder.

"Just give them a little of time. You've worked hard Coach l/n." Coach Ukai tells you as he noticed you were thinking really hard.

"You too, Coach Ukai."

"Good game f/n-chan! I hope now you know you picked the wrong side." You heard Oikawa say as he tucked his shirt in while looking at you smugly.

"Oh no, I'm pretty sure I'm on the right side." You say as you quickly leave so he would get out of your sight. You were not in the mood to be playing games.

You all walked outside the gymnasium and the tension was just too much. It was cold and you could feel everyone's feelings. You knew how it felt to lose. It was the worst thing in the world for you. Suddenly, Coach Ukai turns to you all.

"I'll treat you dinner. Let's go." He says as you all go to this small but homey eatery. He orders a lot from the menu as you felt your stomach grumble making Daichi chuckle softly.

"You worked hard l/n-san." He says as he pats your back and you suddenly felt your tears building up.

"W-why are you-,"

"Because you worked much harder than me, Captain." You say as you give him a hug. He was surprised at first but hugged you back and rubbed your back. Seeing the two of you made some of the team members tear up a little bit too. Everyone ate quietly and comforted each other through each other's sniffs and tears and sounds of the utensils hitting the plates. No one knew what the right words were. In a situation like this, what can you do? What can you say?

You and Kageyama walk home but you soon saw that there was a "buy one take one" promo of ice cream in a convenience store you usually pass by. You pointed at it and Kageyama just nodded. You went out with two ice cream cones and gave one to Kageyama. He was about pay you when you held onto his hand and said no.

You two walked slowly, not wanting to leave each other's sides as you both knew well that you needed each other right now. You both finished your ice creams but you weren't close to your homes yet. It was quiet and you could only hear the crickets and the wind whooshing. Suddenly, Kageyama comes into a halt. You heard sobbing from behind you so you turn to see Kageyama crying.

You rush to him and he suddenly wrapped his arms around you and rested his head on your shoulder. He let his weight fall onto you and it was a struggle but you didn't mind. You rubbed circles on his back and ran your fingers softly through his hair. He breathed deeply and looked at you in the eye.

"A-are you disappointed?" He managed to say.

"What? Why would I be?" You ask.

"You've worked so hard and even faced your fears for us. Just for me to make the wrong choice and lose that game." He says as he rubbed his eyes.

"Tobio, you could never disappoint me."
