33: move on

congrats y'all! u have made it to the 2nd to the last chapter of this book :)

It was the end of the school year and you had no regrets. You smile as you see your team, all gathered in one roof, singing, crying and laughing. It was the farewell party you threw for the 3rd-years.

It made your heart warm as you felt like you were lucky to have witnessed how Karasuno started and how they rose to the top. They were considered a powerhouse team and your team was feared. You couldn't be prouder as now they lived up to their name.

Everyone was giving the 3rd years little messages of encouragement and how they were going to miss them.

"It won't be the same without you guys." You say as you look at Daichi, Asahi, Sugawara and Kiyoko.

"It won't be the same without you too." Daichi says as they all nod at you.

"What do they mean f/n-chan?" Tanaka and Nishinoya both scream at you as they were scared you were leaving too.

"I've talked this over with the 3rd years as well as Coach Ukai and Takeda-sensei and of course, with Tobio too." You say as they look at you, waiting for you to talk.

"This is going to be my first and last year as your assistant coach." You say as they all sulked in their seats and some were even starting to tear up, especially Yachi.

"Because I'll be joining the girls' team! I finally decided to come back and play volleyball." You say with a smile as they all started cheering you on.

"They are so lucky to have you!" Sugawara says to you.

"Don't forget us f/n!" Hinata says as he starts to tear up.

"I don't know whether to be happy or sad but I'm proud of you." Daichi says.

"Me too. I don't know if I should be sad or happy because I won't be able to spend time with you as much but I'm glad you're back to doing what you love." Kageyama says kissing your forehead as the other boys groan.

"Not gonna lie, I'm gonna miss seeing the two of you together." Tanaka mumbles making Nishinoya nod.

"Come on guys! We're just one court apart!" You say as all their mouths make an 'o' shape.

"I'm gonna miss you all! And I hope that the next time we meet, that would be in a huge stadium! To Nationals!" You say as you bring your glass of juice up. They do too and clink it onto yours.

You smile at the sight of them. You truly love every single one of them. You would miss this but your heart is pounding as you don't know what's coming for you in the future.
