You saw Kageyama outside your gate and even though you were kind of far from each other, you could feel how different he is. His eyes looked sad and his aura was dark. You ran to go downstairs and quickly unlocked your gate. As soon as he saw he sighed and his features softened. He collapsed on your body.

"I missed you." He says as you close the gate and lead him to your room. You laid on your bed and moved your laptop and all your other things away. You pat the spot beside you for him to take. He took his bag and jacket off and quickly dove on your bed. He rested his head on your chest and you started to comb his hair with your fingers.

"Bad day, babe?" You say as he just sighed. Soon, you heard him sniffing. You sat up, forcing him to move from his spot. He tried to avoid your eyes.

"Tobio, what's up?" You ask as you twist his face to face you. He still wasn't answering.

"Hey. With me, you won't suffer alone. I carry your sufferings and you carry mine. Now, what's going on?" You ask. He sighs and finally looks at you. His eyes looked swollen and red. His face was puffy and red from crying.

"It's my Grandpa's death anniversary." He says. You move to the side so he can sit beside you. As soon as he did, you wrapped your arms around his.

"I just-I want him to see me. I want to see him. I want to see his proud face once we reach Nationals. I want to see him smile once I go home and tell him how hard practice was. I miss him, f/n. So bad." He says as he rested his head on your shoulder.

"Have you visited him?" You ask as he shook his head.

"Do you want to?" You ask as he looked at you.

"Of course. I'm just scared of what might happen."

"You don't have to be scared. I'll be with you the entire time." You say as you give him a reassuring smile. You got up and took a hoodie. You wore it and changed into some sneakers. Once he saw what you were doing he stood up and took his jacket and bag back on. You both got out of your house and held his hand tightly.

"Lead the way." You say as nodded while looking down at you.

You went on a very familiar route but you couldn't find the information in your brain. That was until you saw the huge gates of the cemetery when it all came to you. He led the way to this specific graveyard and gave one of the keepers a smile. You bowed at them to greet them and they bowed back. You walked along this path until he sighed. You knew you were close. He went right then left then another left until he stopped. He stopped in front of one of the grave stones. You read it and saw the name "Kageyama Kazuyo". You saw that the gravestone has fresh flowers and even some candles on top of it.

"Grandpa, meet f/n. I have found someone who loves volleyball just as much as me. Although, there is Hinata but this girl right here makes me the happiest." He says as tears started coming out of his eyes. You put your hand on his back, going up and down to comfort him.

"Nice to meet you! You know I would like to thank you for inspiring Tobio to play volleyball. It makes him happy and his eyes gleam whenever he's on the court." You say and then you turn to him. You take his face and caress it."

"He's proud of you, okay?" You say as he hugged you and cried even more. You stayed there for a while, him telling you some stories when he was younger. Soon, it was getting dark so you decided to go but before you did you stopped in your tracks.

"Before we go, I have someone I would like you to meet. Someone I haven't visited for a long time." You say as your heart felt heavy but you knew that doing this would help ease the pain. You led the way and saw unfamiliar trees and flowers as haven't been through that path for quite some time already. You suddenly come into a halt and smile.

"Nee-san, I would like you to meet Tobio. I'm sorry I haven't been here for a while. Call it guilt but for the longest time, I blamed myself. I blamed myself for everything that has happened and I blame my stupidity for that game. But we were kids and I know you don't blame me so this is me forgiving myself. I miss you a lot and I'm sure and Mom and Dad does too. I wanted to grow old with you, ask you about boys and gush about your crushes. But I know you're with me despite all that. And I'm very lucky as now, I know I'm not alone. I have Tobio with me."
