The match ended with Karasuno losing. Despite them playing too many sets, they still lost. To be honest, from the first set, you already knew that Nekoma was going to win. It would be stupid to lie to yourself. They were already so skilled and you could tell that they all knew and complemented each other very well. Whilst on your team, some of you barely even knew one another. But it was nice to see them excited and motivated. You were sure that the team still has many room for improvement and it was what excited you the most.

"Are you really sure we don't have the same tattoo f/n-sama?" Kuroo asks you again with a pout.

"I am very sure Kuroo." You say as you pull his shirt down.

"Can you show me yours?" He whispered in your ear with a smirk making the others gape at his confidence. You looked at him and smiled.

You neared your mouth onto his hear and replied, "No." And then proceeded to hit his stomach with your elbow. Kageyama has never smiled this big before. You wave your goodbyes to the others and specifically thanked Coach Nekomata for this opportunity. With the practice match, it really gave you hope for a bigger and better Karasuno.

The next day came which meant another practice. The bracket for the Interhigh was finally announced making all the others really excited but nervous. They trained much more intensely than before, if that was even possible as they heard that they will be facing Aoba Johsai, specifically Oikawa, again. You were talking to Coach Ukai, devising a plan and deciding on the starting players.

"I feel bad for Sugawara," He tells you.

"Why should you? We aren't replacing him for his spot in the team. He is still as important as he always was. Despite him not being the official setter, he still has other important roles in the team. Suga-san is strong and he is determined for the team to win even if he's not the setter. I believe that." You say, making Coach Ukai smile.

"You're actually pretty good at this, you know. Maybe you should just be the coach all on your own." He says as you stare at him deadpan,

"Do you see the bags under my eyes, old man? Do you see them?!" You say, intensely pointing at your eyes making the both of you laugh. Suddenly, you saw a figure run in front of you and then hear someone saying 'ouch'. You look to see Kageyama in front of you who has been hit by a ball in the face that was about to hit you.

"I really really hate you, f/n." He says and then suddenly turned to face you to reveal his bleeding nose.

"Your actions say otherwise, King." Tsukishima says as he snorts. Before Kageyma could retort, you grab his face to look at you. He gulps at how close your faces were.

"Oy, ever heard of personal space?" He says as he pushes you a little bit but you didn't budge. Instead, you took out a handkerchief from your pocket to wipe his nose. He soon realized what you were doing and grabbed the handkerchief from your grasp.

"I can do it myself." He says as he proceeds to wipe his nose.

"Alright! That's enough. Clean up and go home." Ukai says as Kageyama stands up to clean up but you push him down on the bench.

"Stay there." You say as you were about to leave but he grabs onto your arm.

"But-,"

"No buts, Tobio. Just stay there. I'll do your part," You say as you move his hair away from his face and he quickly removes his grasp from your arm. You proceed to help the others to clean up.

"That's good Kageyama. Use her for inspiration. You know I also had a girlfriend when I was your age. She was-," Ukai starts but Kageyama doesn't let him finish.

"She isn't my girlfriend." He says as he puts his jacket on as he sees everyone almost finish cleaning up.

You both exit the gym and wave your goodbyes to the others.

"Hey, wanna place a bet on them?" Tanaka asks the team but they suddenly heard an 'oi' from Daichi.

"There's no need for a bet. We all know they're gonna end up together." Daichi says with a smile.

"Do you think they're each other's soulmates?" Sugawara basically squealed in excitement.

"I just have a good feeling about this." Daichi says.

You and Kageyama both walked side by side with your handkerchief still on his nose.

"It hasn't stopped bleeding? If it hasn't, we have to take you to the hospi-,"

"I'm fine." He says blatantly.

"Ooh chilly," You say as you felt the cold breeze as you were only wearing a t-shirt.

'Of course I forgot my jacket,' You thought to yourself. As if your prayers were answered, you suddenly felt something warm wrap around your body. You see Kageyama putting his jacket on your shoulder and you smile. Before you could thank him, he spoke up.

"Now we're even." He says as he raises your now bloody handkerchief up.

"But that happened to you was because of me in the first place! How is that even?" You exclaim as he shrugs an idea suddenly popped into your head.

"I'll give you milk everyday." You say with a smile at your 'brilliant' idea.

"Huh?" He says.

"To thank you for everything, you know sleeping beside me, comforting me, protecting me and now giving me your jacket, I will-,"

"I told you. You would be useless to us if something happens to you." He says with a huff.

"And what if I'm useless? Why do you care?" You say as you look at him and he turned the other way to avoid your gaze.

"Whatever Tobio. I'm giving you milk everyday. And of course, with a little twist!"
