IM SO SORRY!! K so I rewrote this and then deleted it because it was shit. To fill you in, I'm finishing this and then leaving it cuz holy frick it's chaotic.
Blaine had seen him in school before. He'd seen him wandering the halls, or being beaten by Karovsky. He'd told himself that Kurt deserved it but he couldn't make himself believe it.
Being drawn to someone like Kurt was quickly erased from his mind. He wasn't gay because if he was, he'd have nowhere to live. Both of his parents were strong homophobes.
And yet every time he passed by Kurt, he smiled. Every time someone punched him he felt the pain. He wanted to live in denial for the rest of his life and he would've if Kurt hadn't decided he loved Blaine back. Today was just the beginning.
"Let him have it!" Karovsky smirked.
Blaine never took part in hurting Kurt. He'd always made up an excuse but today there was no avail. He was stuck in front of a broken boy. He simply couldn't bring himself to hurt him.
He was still a badass, no doubt. But the longer he saw Kurt curled up in a terrified ball, the more he wondered if that was true. Eventually, the bell rang leaving Karovsky dumbfounded as Kurt bolted into a classroom.
"What the hell was that, Anderson?"
Karovsky shoved the shorter boy. Blaine frowned. He had intended to hit Kurt just once but his body literally forbids him. Maybe it was because they had history...

7th grade
"So can your sleepover?" Kurt giggled as they walked to class.
"No... My dad said that was too gay or whatever..."
Kurt was seen hiding his hurt. He'd never be able to tell his best friend... He was gay.
"Maybe we can try a different day?"
"Yeah, sure!"
Blaine knew good and well that his father would never allow it, but anything to make Kurt happy again.
**********
That couldn't be it. Kurt was such an old friend and after all the shit he put Blaine through?! No way. Not gonna happen.
And yet...
"Is he okay?" Blaine asks catching up with Puck as they walk to their next class.
"Why do you care?"
"I don't want to... You know to kill him..."
Puck nodded. "He's fine. Sang in Glee Club just like normal."
Sang in Glee Club... That was something Blaine would have to hear... He smiled to himself. This brought up a certain memory he cherished.

"You should join a choir or something, Kurt! You have an amazing voice!" Blaine says.
"So do you!" Kurt smiled.
"Yeah but I don't practice as you do."
Kurt hummed along to the tune of the radio. Both he and Blaine were sitting upright on his bed. The gelled boy was mesmerized by Kurt's ability to harmonize with the people on the radio.

He smiled once again before coming in late to his next class, surprising exactly no one. He had many of his buds in this class. Karovsky, Azimio, Puck, and every other homophobic football player.
When he sat down, he felt an overwhelming sense of pain. Somehow powering through it, he thought of the only thing that could take his mind off of it. Kurt. All the bullshit Kurt's done...
If he'd never met Kurt, he would've been straight! He longed to be attracted to women like normal people.
"Blaine?" Karovsky whispered. "What are you doing?"
Blaine looked down at his hands which were subconsciously doodling on his notes. Not that he was really taking any. He'd drawn a heart with "Kurt and Blaine" in the middle.
He quickly ripped it out and crumpled it up. Blaine ran to throw it away, but by the end of class, it was in Azimio's hands.
