For those of you that thought I ended this book.... sorry... I didn't! In fact, I deleted the edited version and decided to finish this one. Sorry for any and all confusion.
"What the hell for?!" Kurt exclaimed.
Blaine let out a sob he'd been holding back. A moment later he was looking up at the ceiling, trying to control his tears.
"Blaine, you did nothing wrong!"
"I disagree. I-I put you in danger with this stupid bully."
"We've been over this, Blaine! I'm not leaving you-"
"It's not your choice." Blaine dismisses, coldly.
Kurt was shocked into silence. He put one hand over his mouth when it hit him. Blaine was leaving him. He was serious this time. He actually thought that being with Kurt wasn't good for him.
Kurt hated him in that moment. What kind of an idiot would leave his true love?! Still, what was done was done and Kurt knew he couldn't change his mind.
Instead, he turned away from him and started counting. Counting always calmed him. During panic attacks, anxiety, pain, discomfort, anything really. However, even counting he saw Blaine's hands form into fists and his heart just about shattered.
There was a moment of absolute silence while he realized there were about 15 people witnessing their breakup. That alone sent a stab through Kurt's chest. (Small TW) He scooted away from Blaine, wanting nothing more in that moment than death. He had nothing else to live for... (End of small TW)
They were still stuck. The bruises Kurt had encountered were only now beginning to hurt. The reality of the situation dawned on him. They might not actually make it out of there alive.
"Hello, Operator?"
Heads immediately turned in the direction of the voice. Someone had a phone!! They had called the police!
"Blaine!" Kurt exclaimed. "We're gonna get out of here!"
The gelled boy couldn't respond. He lips were literally quivering.
