Blaine's eyes grew wide as he looked away from Kurt. The taller boy followed his gaze, quick to notice the sudden change in emotion.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing..." Blaine whispered. "W-where did you want to go?"

The stutter gave away everything. Blaine had been worried he'd see someone he didn't want to see. This particular person hadn't entered his mind up until this point when he thought about why he really hid his sexuality in the first place.

"You don't wanna go?"

"I didn't say that! I-I'm willing to go anywhere with you!"

"Blaine, you're stuttering. Tell me what's wrong."

Blaine sighed. He stayed quiet for a minute or two but when he looked up, Kurt face just about forced it out of him.

"...I've never been on a date before..."

He wasn't lying, although h might as well have been. Girls didn't count in his mind. Kurt was shocked by that statement, seeing as he's seen girls around him all the time.

"I... I thought-"

"I know... I'm still a bad ass!" Blaine flushed. "You're my first boyfriend... My first actual... Relationship that wasn't one sided or just a way for me to pretend I was straight..."

"Hey, look, it'll be fine. We can go see a movie as our first date since no one will be able to see us in the dark theater anyway."

Blaine nodded and prayed he didn't see the person that clouded his thoughts in that instant. He silently wondered how Kurt made him speak. Literally anyone could've asked him the same thing and Blaine wouldn't have told them shit.

John: Don't even bother coming back. Don't text me and don't call me

Blaine: so far you're the only one who's been doing any of those things.

Blaine smiles at his phone. Sure, he was upset about everything, but not living with his father felt like a blessing and a curse. His father was abusive, rude, and an alcoholic. He also finally got to insult his dad and say something to him that wasn't "sorry sir," or "I'm not gay!"

He was happy that nothing else could possibly go wrong... except for that certain person... He had a boyfriend, he finally left his toxic dad, and Karovsky was in his place. He didn't have to hide anymore... except to the kid of his past. It was taking his mind off that certain person until Kurt pulled into the movie theater parking lot. That's when his heart started racing.

When they walked into the theater, Blaine was slightly trembling. He held Kurt's hand tightly. When they sat down, he seemed to want to cover his face with his jacket. Blaine could feel something bad was going to happen.

"Blaine, it's okay. Nobody's even watching." Kurt whispered.

"W-What if someone from school is here?"

"Shhhhhhhh!"

Kurt gave a dirty look to the man who had shushed him while Blaine simply flipped him off.

"I'm sure we'll be fine." Kurt reassured Blaine.

The gelled boy nodded, trying to take his mind off of everything. A few minutes into the movie Blaine's eyes wandered over to a certain teenager.

He wasn't sure who it was until they turned around. His mouth hung open as he started to panic.

"Kurt, can we please go?"

"Wait, what?"

"Please, Kurt!" Blaine pleaded.

Kurt could see the fear in Blaine's eyes. He knew it all too well. The teenager followed the couple until Kurt could also see him. That's when he spoke up.

"So you really are gay?"

Blaine was quiet.

"Is that your boyfriend?"

Kurt immediately turned beet red.

"No... I'm his friend from school.." Kurt lies.

He figured this person was someone Blaine wouldn't want to know. Blaine grew angry.

"It's fine, Kurt." Blaine turned his attention to the boy. "Yeah, he's my boyfriend. Got a problem?"

"So he's a fairy, too? Wow, two little fags. This should be fun."

Kurt looked down, the hurt radiating off him. The shorter boy noticed this and immediately bit back.

"You don't get to talk to him like that!"

"Oh, and what are you gonna do about it? Are you gonna throw pixy dust all over me?"

Kurt was worried at first, hoping Blaine didn't try to start a fight. The kid seemed pretty muscular for a 17 year old. Blaine stood there, fuming. His hands were balled into fists by his side.

"No, but I will kick your ass."

Kurt quickly grabbed his hand to try and calm him down. Blaine let out a low sigh.

"Man, you guys are so fucking gay!" The boy laughed, watching them.

"Fuck off, Jack!" Blaine yelled and took a swing towards him.

So that was his name... Kurt flinched at the noises. Jack clearly didn't like Blaine's outburst and slapped him accordingly.

"You're not gonna wanna do that." Jack said, straightening his jacket.
