We just bumped into each other... It was just a coincidence... Right?

"Is this weird?" Blaine whispers.

"Only if you make it weird..." Kurt responds.

They were on the bench in front of Breadsticks. Kurt had Blaine's leather jacket on which was clearly way too big. Blaine was torn between confessing his love for Kurt and hiding out just a little longer.

It was almost exhausting for both boys to pretend there wasn't chemistry. They were unsure of the other... It was the first time they were out together in public.

"Um so... Rachel's party is this Saturday... Maybe you'd like to come with me?" Kurt asks.

Blaine basically spaced out for a minute. He was seriously beginning to question himself. I mean, Kurt can't be magic?? He was a badass so what was the deal here?!

"Blaine?"

"Yes! Sure!"

It came out a bit more aggressively than he liked but nonetheless, Kurt smiled.

***********

"He said yes..."

"Go, white boy!!" Mercedes smiles.

"Good job, now help me get Finn to come." Rachel sighed.

Kurt rolled his eyes. Meanwhile, Blaine was talking to Puckerman.

"So it's a date?"

"No! It's a party... I think. Wait, what if it is?!" Blaine exclaimed.

"Then you scored."

"But I don't know what to do! Or act! He might- What if we-"

"Jesus, he's probably just gonna get drunk with you. Bedroom's available..."

"No! He's not like that!" Blaine exclaimed. "God no!"

*******

"Dammit... How the hell am I gonna cover that up?"

Blaine trailed his fingers over the huge gash. He put layers upon layers of makeup on it but it seemed impossible and if he saw Kurt, he'd be sure to notice.

He decided to simply wear long sleeved shirts and hope that Kurt didn't find out. He'd already been skeptical ever since that day he caught Blaine putting makeup on his face.

Falling wasn't the most believable thing in the world.

Did you drag your face across the concrete too? Blaine thought.

John didn't even have a reason that day. He was just pissed off. He also didn't see his mother today which meant he couldn't tell her what was going on. She was the only person he might tell...

But she was gone again for who knows how long...
