Do you remember when I told you Blaine was scared? Imagine him now. He couldn't face Kurt if he tried. He prayed for the first time in his life hoping Kurt hadn't heard anything.

They hadn't texted because Blaine was terrified of checking his messages. Kurt wasn't doing much better. Constantly worrying about Blaine wasn't exactly calming, especially when he wasn't answering his texts.

They both knew the exact reason for such behavior, even if they were unsure of the truth behind their beliefs. It was as if an imaginary force kept them apart while they were under the illusion that it was good for them.

Needless to say, it wasn't.

"Well you guys still have Rachel's party. He said he was going to that right? Make up there." Mercedes said.

"I hope so... he hasn't been answering his phone...." Kurt replies.

*********

"Kurt!" Blaine calls.

Kurt had just arrived at the party. He wasn't going to lie, he didn't think that Rachel's party would be much fun at all. Turns out a couple beers can turn it upside down.

"Kurt!"

"Yes? B-Blaine? Are you drunk?"

Blaine paused for a second on his mad dash towards him. "Yes! No... I don't remember."

With that, he enveloped Kurt into a huge hug. At first, Kurt had no idea what to do. Blaine was clinging to him like a five year old.

"Um... Blaine, can you let me breathe for just a second?"

He finally loosened his grip, allowing Kurt break free.

"I missed you..." Blaine said timidly.

"I missed you, too. Are you okay?"

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"

Kurt thought about bringing up his father, until he realized that if Blaine really was drunk, he wouldn't remember shit. He also didn't want to ruin what looked like a three year old in a ball pit.

"We're gonna play spin the bottle, come on!"
Blaine grabbed Kurt's hand and brought him to the circle of teenagers on the floor. After a seemingly long time, Kurt decided he was ready to get the hell out of there. Of course, Blaine had no way back since Puck had taken Lauren upstairs...

"Blaine, lets go." Kurt said.

"Wait, Wait! Have you seen those cupcakes!? I want one!" Blaine pouted.

Kurt allowed him to grab one and then followed him out to his car. Blaine sat in the back seat giggling and getting frosting absolutely everywhere.

A shower later, Blaine went back to his original state:clinging to Kurt. They were on the couch and thank god Burt was out for the week with Carole.

It was relatively silent until Blaine started randomly crying.

"Blaine, what's wrong?"

"Walls..." he replied.

"Walls?"

"I have my walls up."

Kurt watched him attentively. "I don't understand..."

"I have my walls up! I can't tell you what's wrong! There's nothing wrong! Forget it!"

Blaine turned his head away from Kurt while still clinging to him.

"You can tell me anything... You know that right?"

"You know you sound cheesy right? You know I ain't telling you shit right? You know I can't right?!"

His voice was getting louder and louder. Kurt had seen only once when Blaine lost his temper. Someone had called him gay for the first time in school, and it was quite obvious the kid would be in the hospital for a while...

"Blaine please calm down."

He looked like he was going to stand up, but instead he laid his head on Kurt's chest. This caused Kurt to tense up almost instantly. This wasn't normal, Blaine wasn't being normal.

Still, he couldn't help but melt into his touch a few seconds later. It felt natural and yet so different.

"Kurt?"

"Y-yes?"

"I don't wanna lose you. Please don't leave me..."

Kurt could feel himself itching to kiss him but now was not the time or place for that. Blaine kept his eyes open for a few seconds at a time as he slowly nodded off. Kurt fell asleep with him shortly after the initial shock of having Blaine so close to him.
