As If It Was Easy

Chapter 15

When they woke up, Blaine was cuddling Kurt much closer than they'd ever been. It was Friday, which meant school.  That damned alarm clock scared Blaine yet again with its loud ringing. He snapped up, ripping his arms away from Kurt in the process.

"It's just an alarm clock, Blaine." Kurt said, holding his hands up.

"I know, I know! I'm fine!"

Blaine focused on his breathing while Kurt went to the bathroom to get ready. He was in the middle of doing his hair when Blaine came up from behind and kissed him.

"I love you."

"Slow down!" Kurt laughed.

"But I do! I always have and I always will. You've been there for me when no one else was." Blaine smiles.

"I get that, and I do love you, but I want to take things a bit slower. Not only that, but we have a bigger problem to work on."

When Blaine frowned, Kurt turned to face him.

"I don't want to talk about that..." Blaine growled.

"Blaine, you can't put it off. I'm fine with you living here, but I don't know about my dad."

"I don't want to talk about it!" Blaine repeated.

He walked away leaving Kurt with the smell of raspberry hair gel.

"Wait, wait... This happened just yesterday?!" Puck exclaimed.

"Yes... I know it's crazy... But I think I love him!" Blaine smiles.

"Good for you! But don't die."

"What the hell does that mean?"

"One look at Kurt tell me he's not great in the sex department."

"Is that all you think about? How did you last with Lauren?"

"I didn't..."

"Hey babe-"

"Have you just forgotten where we are?" Kurt asks. "This is McKinley. There are people like Karovsky-"

"Gay."

"What?"

Blaine looked at Kurt for a second and then closed his eyes. "Remember what that jackass did?"

Kurt slowly nodded.

"We have leverage over him. He can't touch us!"

"What about Azimio...? And all the other kids on the football team."

"Got that covered." Blaine smiles.

As if on cue, all the boys from Glee club came marching down the hall on the way to the locker room.

"W-what are they about to do?"

"Well, I believe they are about to go beat the shit out of some footballers." Blaine said. "Again..."

That last part was inaudible for Kurt. Blaine expected this to woo his boyfriend, so what he got instead came as a big shock.

"Wait, what?! No, don't do that!"

"Uh, why the hell not?"

"Because then that makes me a bully too..." Kurt whispers. "I don't want them to get in trouble because of me... They're all really nice but I don't think we should go that far."

"Kurt..."

"I'll just tell Figgins..."

The number one thing with loving Kurt is that he wasn't a badass. He was so pure and sweet it almost made Blaine question why he wasn't the same way.

The longer he stood falling into Kurt's silver eyes, the longer he wanted to just pull him into an empty classroom.

"B-Blaine are you okay?" Kurt asked. "I'm sorry... I really do appreciate it but-"

"Shut up and kiss me."

On a regular day, two boys making out would've made everyone stop and stare. But today, they'd seen what went down before Kurt got to school.

Flashback

Just as Karovsky was walking past the gelled boy, he said,

"Hey fag-"

Blaine immediately slammed his locker shut and shoved Karovsky against the wall.

"Say it to my face! I dare you." Blaine growler. "Better yet, say it to Kurt one more time and see if you still have your teeth!"

And of flashback

"Blaine! You have zero control!" He laughed. "It's kinda cute though..."

Successfully making Blaine smile yet again, the boys walked to class. After school, they got home where Burt was waiting for them.

"Um... Blaine, I'll meet you upstairs..."

Blaine reluctantly removed his hands from Kurt's waist and clomped up the stairs.

"He's not straight..."

"Yeah, I got that." Burt laughed.

"So... am I in trouble?" Kurt asked.

"No... But I don't want to hear anything up there. You guys stay fully clothed and PG."

Blaine groaned from upstairs. Kurt turned red when he heard that. "Dad, I'm not going to... do that."

Burt have a suspicious look and then pointed to the guest room behind Kurt.

"Dad, come on-"

"He sleeps there tonight. I'm sorry, bud."

Kurt slowly walked up the stairs to meet his boyfriend. "Um..."

"Yeah, I know what happened..." Blaine chuckled.

Kurt sat on his bed with his boyfriend and kissed his cheek. Blaine basically melted after that.

"I've longed for these moments. When I was drunk, I... I did what I always wanted to."

"You clung to me. And you wouldn't let go!" Kurt laughed. "But we should set some rules."

"Rules?!"

"Yes, rules. Dad said no funny business."

"Fine..."

"Okay, and second, I don't want to move too quickly. We should go on a date!"
