"I'm sorry..." Blaine whispered. "I'm so freaking sorry..."
Kurt eyes fluttered open for a moment. He could see Blaine leaning against the wall farthest away from him.
"We have to find a way out of here... we have to... you guys can't kill him... just take me! P-please?"
"Blaine?"
Blaine didn't look up.
"Is this what it feels like to lose your mind?" He thought out loud. "Am I out of it...?"
Kurt inched his way closer to Blaine before resting two icy hands on his shoulders. Blaine knew Kurt was there and relaxed just a little from that.
************
"So you knew this would happen?!" Finn questioned.
"No!" Karovsky looked down. "Kind of... I mean I did warn him! I don't know why he didn't tell you!"
Rachel had gotten emotional a few moments after discussing Kurt. While Karovsky definitely didn't think Kurt was considered a friend , he was still worried that something had actually happened to him.
"He told me he was with Blaine... A lot of stuff had to do with Blaine in the emails." Karovsky said. "Maybe we can-"
"Let me see the emails." Finn cut in, moving over to the computer. "Did anybody find Kurt's phone?"
"No..."
Karovsky was right about one thing, almost every message Kurt sent was about Blaine or mentioned him in some way. But nearly every time he did, the name Jack came within it.
Another knock on the door sent Finn to answer. There stood Mercedes, Santana, Brittany, Mike, Sam, Puckerman, and Quinn. Tina wheeled Artie inside behind them.
"We could give clues." Puck said.
"How did you know we were here?" Finn asked.
"I just know you well, man."
Rachel held up her phone and mouthed 'I called for them.' Finn nodded.
"So you said Jack saw you guys in the locker room?" Finn asked Puck.
He nodded. "Just started throwing shade. And then he said he'd bring friends..."
"Why didn't you tell us this when we were talking about it?! Before they were stolen?! Seriously!"
"I didn't think he was serious! How many high school kids do you know that kidnap gay people in their free time?!"
"Okay, not the point guys." Tina says. "The emails confirm that Karovsky and Kurt were forming a plan to take down Jack. They got as far as this-"
She pointed to the email.
Karovsky: so he has friends
Kurt: yes from our school
Karovsky: do you have any football friends?
Kurt: Mike, Finn, Puck, Sam, and Artie.
Kurt: I don't think they're in Jacks plan though
Karovsky: probably not. However, they could've heard the scoop. Ask them when you get the chance
"There isn't a chance in hell we'll talk now."
"Puckerman!" Mercedes chastised him.
"I heard Azimio say something!" Mike blurted our. "Me, Artie, and Sam were just hanging out in the locker room and Azimio and Jack started whispering behind the lockers. I don't think they knew we were there..."
"Why didn't anyone say anything befo-"
"Finn! Just listen, okay?" Rachel said.
"He said something about a gun. And that Jack was probably 'gay as fuck too...'" Sam continued, faking an Azimio sounding accent at the end.
Artie nodded, hesitantly agreeing.
"Jack said he needed revenge from Blaine. They didn't really say much about Kurt except for the fact that he was perfect bait for Blaine." He added.
"Karovsky do you know anywhere Jack would think to hang out...?" Finn asked beginning to pack a bag.
"Um... what ever happened to letting the police handle this?" Quinn asked.
"We know him better. Kurt's my brother, your friend, and he's too innocent to be in this situation to begin with."
"What about Blaine?"
"This is his bully. Kurt told me about Jack but he didn't say it was this serious..."
"Why didn't you tell us sooner?" Puck mocked.
"He put Kurt in this situation. Well save him and crap but I'm not a fan." Finn continues.
Rachel followed after her boyfriend over to the kitchen.
"So I ask again Karovsky."
"Not really... maybe in Westerville? He knew Blaine from a while back."
"Like from Dalton?" Finn asked. "Kurt used to go there!"
"So did Blaine... did they know each other back then?" Puck said.
"Maybe...? That's not the point though. Let's go."
*************
"Blaine, you know I don't blame you for any of this..." He rested just head on Blaine's shoulder. "Right...?"
"You should. He's my bully. You have your own."
"Yes but you couldn't have helped this."
"You don't get it, Kurt..." Blaine whispered.
"What do you mean...?" Kurt whispered back.
"I keep putting you in danger. Every time I think about things it's the same. I brought my fathers troubles to you, I brought Jack to you, and..."
Kurt listened intently.
"And...?"
"And I don't wanna do it anymore! You know you're important to me but I don't want to keep hurting you."
He looked to Kurt who's face clearly didn't like where things were going.
"Please don't give me those eyes..." Blaine pleaded. "I can't say no when you do that..."
"That's the point. You can't leave me, Blaine. I'll do worse without you."
"I just... what if I'm driving you into the ground? I can't stand it..."
"You aren't! I-"
The door swung open. Azimio and Jack stood staring at them. A few seconds of silence before Jack smiled.
"You guys can't keep your hands off each other..."
"Why are you doing this?! What did we ever do to you?!" Kurt yelled.
"None of your business low-life!"
"It IS my business! You're just another humongous homophobic idiot seeking revenge on innocent lovers! You're just jealous!!!" Kurt stood as he spoke, slightly scaring Blaine in the process.
Jack turned and punched him in the stomach. Kurt almost instantly lost steam. Blaine grabbed him when that happened, allowing him to fall back safely.
"I have the power to kill you, Hummel!" Jack growled. "You are so on my list!"
He turned to Blaine who avoided eye contact.
"Keep your boyfriends mouth shut!"
Azimio stayed behind when Jack left.
He walked over to Kurt and whispered, "The password is I'm gay. Capital G and Y. No apostrophe."
He ran back with Jack leaving Kurt in a confused state of mind, Blaine shaking him even though his world was turning black.
