Wake up

You're dreaming

You'll get to see Kurt when you wake up

You'll see Puckerman and sing with him again

Blaine opened his eyes hoping his surroundings matched his thoughts. But he was still outside in the rain with a suitcase... It was official. Blaine no longer had a home.

Until his eyes opened a second time.

*********

Blaine could barely breathe when he snapped up in bed. The reoccurring dreams seemed to scare him even more than he'd expected. He'd have dreams about living in the school, Kurt finding out and being so... disappointed.

He finally stopped his alarm clock and got ready for school... Wait...

Alarm clock?!

He never set any alarm clock, so he turned off thin air. He checked around his room for the noise and eventually made his way around the house. He grew closer to the noise and found himself near his father's room.

"Turn that fucking thing off! Your son could hear!"

"Our son, Sarah. And so what if he hears? He won't care."

But Blaine did care. His mother had been absent for over a month and when finally hearing her voice... It was between sloppy kisses and that damn alarm!

***********

"Why haven't you told Kurt about any of this? You know he'd be able to help you right? He's good with 'emotions and stuff' right?" Puck says.

"I don't want to get him involved. He's too innocent for my shit..." Blaine reasons.

"But he wants to help you."

"No, okay? He doesn't know what 'help' means anyway. He can't help me."

"He can help you tell someone. We all know you won't."

"I need a place to live! I can't tell anyone... You know you'd do the same thing."

"Whatever dude."

Almost no one was paying attention to the teacher in the classroom. Puck turns his attention back to his phone. Blaine does the same when he felt it vibrate.

Kurt: Hello

Blaine: Sup

Kurt: I don't suppose you're working?

Blaine: yeah, no

Kurt: Do you wanna hang out? After school?

Blaine: yeah, sure

Puck watched Blaine's expression change drastically into a smile/giggle. "So you're texting Kurt?"

Blaine glared at him. "Shut up."

**********

"You've been distant..." Kurt says.

"What do you mean?" Blaine asks.

They were at Kurt's house, sitting side by side in bed.

"Well, ever since the whole Karovsky thing.... I sort of noticed you don't hang out with anyone but Puck."

"Well, He's one of my best friends and everyone else except you is an asshole anyway."

Kurt nodded.

"So how are you...? I still can't believe the biggest homophobe in school would... you know..."

"Yeah, you and me both. I lost my first kiss to a bully."

Blaine followed his gaze when Kurt looked away. His hand hovered over Kurt's shoulder but then snatched it away in embarrassment.

"Well, it doesn't have to count. It only counts if you feel it."

"I guess..."

"I've kissed a lot of girls but I haven't had my real first kiss."

Kurt glances back at him and then pulled out his phone to text Rachel. Blaine wasn't sure how to help someone who got kissed by a bitch. He was upset that he couldn't help his... friend out...

He wasn't sure what Kurt truly was in relation to Blaine. He'd go to his grave swearing Kurt wasn't his crush.... Even though he was.

But friends kept him and Kurt happy.

...Mostly...
