Chapter 15: Training Sessions

Zack's Point Of View

Sabado , kaya naman alas siyete pa lang ng umaga ay natapos na namin ni colt ang daily routines namin ngayon umaga. Napagkasunduang dapat na agahan ko dahil nahuli na ako sa mga itinuturo ni Ms. Olivia. Nabanggit sa akin ni Colt na they were dealing with magic stuffs so I was kinda excited pero nang mabugahan ako ng napakainit na heat wave ay nawalan ako ng gana. Kahit na nagawa ko ang unang flame spell sa buong talambuhay ko, wala pa din akong gana.

"Zack! Tumabi ka dyan!" sigaw sa akin ni Tyke nang muntik na akong matamaan ng isa sa mga fireballs na ginagawa niya. "S-sorry. I'll focus on my own magic." wika ko sa kanya bago ako lumayo.

Every weekend ay sa school grounds kami nagtra-training , half-day lang din kami every Sunday para may oras kami para magpahinga. This magic thingy is so great pero nakakapagod lalo na't ngayon lang namin ito ginagawa. Kahit pa sabihing sapat ang magoi namin ay hindi pa sanay ang katawan namin. And for me, even with my vast amount of magoi, regarding my status -as the mythical grace owner-, my body just can keep up. This magic thingy is taking a huge toll on my body.

I was about to fall when Colt used gravity composite magic on me. "Puppeteers Entombment!" sa oras pa lang na binanggit niya ang spell ay nanatili ako sa hangin at hindi nakagalaw. He used a swindling spell.

"Sorry about that."

"Wala yon, salamat."

"Sabay tayo mag-train?" maglalakad na sana ako palayo pero humirit pa siya kaya hindi na ako tumanggi sa alok niya. Sabay kaming naglakad papunta sa isang parte ng field at saka nagsimulang mag-ensayo. 

Ms. Olivia told me na a magic spell is giving our magoi some sort of commands. Pagkasabi nito sa akin noon ay bigla itong nawala sa paningin ko, she disappeared for a few seconds and then patted me in the back bago tuluyang nagpakita sa akin.

"That was Water Invisibility. Nagbigay ako ng tatlong command sa magoi ko. Gather water, Turn it to steam and refract the light. Those are the commands that I gave my magoi."

Nilapitan kaming dalawa ni Ms. Olivia. Papanoodin niya kami ni Colt?

"Try defending against my magic attack. " sabi ni sa akin ni Ms. Olivia na sa ngayon ay nag-iipon na ng magoi sa kamay niya. 

"Steam, Heat, Strength! Great Flash!" 

Ms. Olivia used her staff to create a steam wall, then she applied heat magic, and at last is the strength magic. Matapos iyon ay nacompress ang tatlong ito in the form of a small black ball. Inihagis iyon sa akin ni Ms. Olivia kaya't tumakbo ako pero mabagal lang ito at nang tumama sa lupa ay biglang sumabog. Wind and steam was thrown at my direction kaya naman gumawa ako ng sphere borg. Fortunately, hindi iyon nasira. 

Napalingon ako kay Colt and he was staring at us, amazed.

"What was that?!!" gulat na taong niya kay Ms. Olivia

"That was aberrant magic, its made from combining different magic types. Flames, water currents, wind, almost all kinds of magic are phenomena naturally caused by our world's magoi but Aberrant Magic is different; it is a calamity and highly destructive. It happens under really rare conditions; for example, big earthquakes and tsunamis. Aberrant Magic forcibly orders the magoi that you own to cause natural calamities that rip the world apart." pagpapaliwanag niya sa amin.

"Not the magic, the spell!!!" Colt said.

Narinig kong tumawa si Ms. Olivia saka nagsabing, "That magic spell was Great Flash,  an Aberrant Magic which combines , water magic, heat magic, and strength magic. It takes the shape of a small black ball, which, when thrown, releases the stream that was shrunk by high pressure and explodes. It needs at least a combination of 180 ceremonial orders to be realized. It works based on the same principle of a volcano: the release of built-up pressure, which then causes an explosion." malinaw na pagpapaliwanag niya samin. Nganga naman si Colt sa nalaman niyang uri ng magic.
