Zack's Point Of View
I was using a long-range clairvoyance magic to determine what are happening on the outskirts of Kambala pero bago pa makalayo ang tingin ko sa labas ng pinakamalaking barrier ay kaagad akong natumba.
Someone on the ocean blocked my magic. Could it be Zachariaz? No. Alam ko ang bawat galaw ng rukh niya, somehow, that magic had turned to be someone from the Kou Empire. That person managed to negate my long-range clairvoyance magic like it was nothing!
"Zack, ayos ka lang ba?" nag-aalalang tanong sa akin ni Colt sabay abot ng kamay para itayo ako. Inabot ko naman iyon at nang makatayo ako ay saka sinagot.
"Yes, but... this war won't be easy."
"Huh, bakit naman?" tanong naman sa akin ni Tyler.
"Well, someone managed to negate my long-ranged clairvoyance magic." sambit ko habang wala sa loob na kinakamot ang ulo ko.
"Was it Zachariaz?" Tyke asked.
"No, it was different. With Zachariaz's rukh inside me, I can easily tell if it's his magic or not, but it was far weaker than his magic yet it was able to stop mine." pagpapaliwanag ko sa kanila.
"Let's settle it down for a moment, let's not waste time, the Kou Empire would be here any moment now. We better get going, let's join other forces. " wika ni Tyke na naglakad na kaagad patungo sa labas ng barrier. The Kambala Academy magicians and soldiers are able to enter and leave the barrier freely.
"Guys, you go on ahead, I'll roam around this place for a while, I promise I'll catch up with you. " sabi ko sa kanila na naging dahilan para tumigil sila sa paglalakad at harapin ako.
"Zack, it's too dangerous." mababakas ang pag-aalala sa boses ni Colt.
"He's right Zack, let's stick together. " wika ni Tyke.
"I agree Zack." segunda naman ni Tyler sa dalawa.
"Sorry guys, I am really going, I will meet Zachariaz soon. Soon, my questions will finally be answered." wika ko sabay hinawakan ang staff ko. I powered up my gravity magic to it's highest degree as possible. Agad naman akong lumipad palayo sa kanila. Habang sumisigaw.
"Sorry guys! I'll be back soon! "
Nagpatuloy ako sa paglipad at nilibot ko ang bawat barrier. Bawat isang level ng barrier ay binubuo ng mga sundalo ng Kambala, high-class magiciand at second-class magicians. Ganoon ang set up mula sa pinakamaliit na barrier hanggang sa ika-apat na barrier pero sa loob ng ika-lima ay iba ang nasaksihan ko.
Halos triple ang dami ng mga sundalong nasa loob ng barrier na nakahandang umatake sa oras na mabasag ang barrier. Mahahalata din na mas madaming magicians ang nakahandang umatake sa loob ng pinakamalaking barrier. Halos lahat ng faculty members ng Kambala Academy ay nandoon.
I decided to head back to search for the three when I was frozen in place. I heard a familiar voice. It was Zachariaz.
"Attention, magicians, and soldiers of Kambala. I, Zachariaz, the Kou Empire's High Priest is addressing all of you-" out of nowhere, his image pop in my mind. He was talking, he was wearing an article of different clothing, he looked much more formal and he was much more manlier.
His long blonde hair was now tied up in a messy braid with several wavy locks falling over his shoulders. He was also wearing a more formal attire: his white robe with gold and red highlights are exposing his arm and his abdomen, and he has the same eyes as mine.
