Chapter 8

Chapter 8 

Adrianna’s POV
I felt a tingling feeling going through my body. Aaron strokes his fingers from my hip and all the way up to my head. I turned around facing a smiling Aaron Ramsey. “Hey you” I said kissing him. He deepened the kiss when I tried to pull away, taking me into a big hug. “Do you have some classes today?” he asked. “I got two classes I need to attend at 12.30.” “Great, my training starts at 13.00 so we can go and grab some lunch before that” he said smiling. “Sounds great” I replied him before I heard the doorbell ring. The clock said 07.29. “Are you expecting anyone now?” Aaron looked at me with a confused look, shaking his head.

Julie’s POV
I didn’t care about the time when I walked towards the front door. I needed to talk to Adrianna, now matter if she was asleep or not. I couldn’t keep it to myself anymore. I rang the doorbell, no one answered. I rang one more time, this time the door opened and Aaron stood there in just his boxers. “Julie! Didn’t expect you here at this time. Is something wrong?” he asked. “I need to speak with Adrianna right now” I said rushing past him and towards the bedroom.

Aaron’s POV
Julie didn’t bother to take off her clothes nor her shoes as she rushed past me. I closed the door and followed her. I stopped in the doorway when I saw Julie and Adrianna standing in the bedroom hugging. Adrianna said something to Julie in Norwegian. Adrianna let go of Julie and walked over to me. “What is it?” I whispered to her. “Something has happened between her and Jack, but I don’t know what. I’ll talk to you about it later, okay?” she said kissing me. She was about to close the door when I stopped her. “Wait.”

The look on her face said what. “Just let me get some clothes on first” I said heading towards the wardrobe. “Just hurry, okay?” I nodded a yes. While I found some clothes to wear I overheard them talking. But since they talked in Norwegian I didn’t understand what they said. But three things I understood: Jack, sex and baby.

Adrianna’s POV
“I always wanted kids, but not at this time in my life and now I… “Julie said. Her eyes were filling up with tears again and I gave her a wet wipe. I hugged her. “Everything is going to be fine. You know there are other options about this sort of things.”

Aaron’s POV
I left a little note on the fridge letting Adrianna know where I was before I left the apartment. They had been in the bedroom for an hour now. Something serious has happened I thought to myself as I grabbed my car keys and a jacket. I dialed Jack’s number but he didn’t answer the phone.

I arrived at Jack’s apartment 20 minutes later. I was still in the car when I called him for the second time, he didn’t answer this time either. I got out of the car and rushed up to the front door as it was cold as ice outside. I rang the doorbell but no one answered. I was about to turn around and go home when Jack opened. He looked as tired as Julie. “Hey mate” he said with a dark and low voice. “You didn’t answer the calls, so I thought I’d drop by.” Jack didn’t say anything. “Julie was pretty messed up when she got to my place this morning. You want to tell me what’s happened or?” Jack opened the door more as a sign to come in.

We sat down at the kitchen table. Jack handed me a cup of tea and he sat down across the table. He had a mug that said ‘No 1 Dad’ on it. Outside the winter was getting closer.  The frost clenched to the windows and the grass in the backyard was nearly white.

“So what happened?” I asked. Jack cleared his throat. “After the game a few days ago Julie told me that she thought she was pregnant.” I coughed on the tea. “Yeah, I was shocked too” Jack said leaning back against the chair. “Is Julie pregnant?” “No, we went to the doctor the day after and checked.” “I don’t get it, why is she so upset then? Did you plan having a baby?” “No no, I think we have enough with Archie right now.” A smile appeared on Jack’s face when he said Archie but it soon faded away because off what he was going to say.

 “But when we were at the doctor’s office they did some tests on Julie and we got the result last night.” Jack sat down his mug and took a deep breath. “Julie can’t have babies like never ever.”

Adrianna’s POV
‘Can you pick me up after your training? I’ll make you dinner’ I texted Aaron. I knew he wouldn’t see the message before the training was over, but I gave it a shot. “Are you texting him now? That’s so cute. What did you say?” Charlotte asked. My classmate was starting to be a real pain in the ass. “Can you please just stop asking about him?” I didn’t notice the harshness in my tone until I saw the look on Charlotte’s face. “Okay grumpy, you clearly got up on the wrong foot today.” I decided to ignore what she had said and focus on the school, but it only went two minutes before Charlotte turned around to me again. “You know normal girls talk about their boyfriend to her friends.” “Well I guess I’m not a normal girl.”

Aaron’s POV
“I would have picked you up even if you didn’t make me dinner you know” I said to Adrianna when she got in the car. “Well I thought I had to make up for chasing you out of the bedroom this morning” she chuckled. “So how is Julie?” I asked starting the car. “She said she was fine when I left her, but I know she isn’t and I think it will take more than a few weeks to get past. How was Jack?” I saw in the corner of the eye that Adrianna was looking at me.

“I don’t think it’s easy for him. I guessed he had planed starting a family in the end with Julie.” “I didn’t think they were so serious.” “Not serious?” I chuckled. “What do you mean?” “I mean that those two have been on and off since Julie came to Arsenal. Jack even flew to Norway just to be with Julie when it was her birthday.” “But what about Archie then?” she asked. “Like I said, Jack and Julie have been on and off so one night out Jack met Lauren and nine months later Archie was born.” “So you won’t be surprised if Archie calls Julie mum?” I parked the car, and looked at Adrianna. “Not at all.”

Adrianna’s POV
“Well, I’m going to bed” I said standing up. Aaron laid his hand on my bum and pushed me away without looking at me. “I’ll see you there in 15 min cariad.” I rolled my eyes as I walked towards the bedroom. I turned around in the doorway, looking at them. Aaron and Kieran were lying on the sofas watching Spartacus.  “Good night boys.” Neither of them replied. 15 minutes later I heard Aaron saying goodbye to Kieran. “Why are you smiling like that?” I asked him when he came into the bedroom. “You look really cute with those glasses” he chuckled.

 I took the glasses off and left the schoolbooks on the night stand next to the bed. “Let’s see how you look with glasses and then we’ll see who’ll be laughing” I laughed and got up on the bed. Aaron was standing on the end. Slightly taller than him I placed the glasses on him. “So how do I look?” “Aww, you look adorable” I said kissing him.” What are you doing this weekend?” “I don’t know, why do you ask?” “Since we got this away game, I thought it could be fun if you went with us. I think Julie is coming to.” “That would be great. Sure I’ll come with you.” Aaron lifted me up so my legs went around his waist. He laid me down on the bed and started to kiss me down the neck.
