Okay soo, I'm hoping for this chapter to be a bit longer, but we'll see.

It's kind of hard for me to write longer chapters now as my mental health is quite fragile and I don't want to push my limits.

Also, I was messing around on picrew, and here is the official design of Isabella!

I have a feeling you're all gonna be mad at me soon. You'll see why :)

Also, just for future reference, Isabella is going to claim to have a 'crush' on Eren in this chapter, however, that is not going to evolve into any sort of relationship, I promise! It's simply her childlike mind mistaking someone she admires for ...

Also, just for future reference, Isabella is going to claim to have a 'crush' on Eren in this chapter, however, that is not going to evolve into any sort of relationship, I promise! It's simply her childlike mind mistaking someone she admires for a crush. Most children do it, and I want to give Isabella a sort of innocence to her to make her seem more real.

Y/N felt herself freeze as a dark, dense shadow loomed over them. Slowly, she craned her neck to turn around, hoping to not see what she thought she would see.

Alas, hope was never on her side. Her eyes widened in sheer horror at the sight of the Colossal Titan. Not again.. not after she had gotten so far.

In the trainee corps

Y/N had watched earlier. They had been in training, their first ever attempts at actually flying with the ODM gear. It had always seemed natural to her, she felt like a bird spreading their wings. Everyone else had described it as that too, however for Y/N it felt different.

They had all claimed it felt like they were spreading their wings for 'the first time'. But, for her, it felt like she had done it before - like she was only respreading their wings after years of an uneasy rest. It felt as though she was built for them, and she clearly did have the scars on her body signifying that she had worn the gear times and times before.

Though, just because it came easy to her, didn't mean it did to others. Eren Jaeger, the boy had always seemed familiar to her, though she couldn't quite put her finger on it. When she thought of him, she almost remembered a young, small, hot-headed boy who would run around a town she could not recall. Isabella adored the boy, and had adamantly claimed multiple times that she would marry him, much to her mother's amusement.

Eren had struggled to get the hang of the gear, and multiple times had she had to swoop in and grab him before he fell headfirst into the ground. It wasn't that he wasn't good at it - he was amazing at using the gear, but he tended to get too ahead of himself sometimes and before you could even blink, he would be toppling towards the ground.

As amusing as it sounded, it was getting rather worrying and nobody seemed to care enough to offer him advice on how to stay upright on the gear. She began to feel sorry for him, hence why she decided to confront him one night after dinner.
