A/N - here we areee! The moment you've all been waiting for, the grand reunion. Also idk if anyone ever listens to the songs but this song fits so much ugh. it's a mashup that includes the song in the chapter where Levi and Y/N first met, and technically they're meeting again here so yeah.
Y/N
She didn't particularly know why Shadis had abruptly ordered her to deliver the papers, but she had always trusted him, so she would do as he said.
Unfortunately she did have to leave Isabella at the base by herself, but she trusted her comrades and friends to care for her.
She listened to the floorboards creak beneath her own feet, the screeching sound echoing too loudly in her ears. She felt conscious of every single thought inside her head, every single sense in her own body. The hairs on her arms and the back of her neck stood up on end.
"Y/N?!"
She turned her head to a man, who was staring at her with widened eyes. He had brownish-blondish hair and brown eyes. He wore a blue shirt, and was dressed smartly, albeit the bags under his eyes.
"Do I know you-?" She immediately questioned, but before she could even finish her sentence, the man had turned on his heel and practically booked it down the hallway, the name 'Hange-San!' coming out of his mouth. The name sounded familiar, but she couldn't put her finger on it.
Y/N turned on her heel, but before she could continue down the hallway, the document dropped out of her hand.

The key to her heart was in front of her, and with him, came her memories. All the people who built her into who she was now, all of them running through her mind.
"Woah... father told you that?" Y/N smiles at Erwin with glee evident in her naive eyes, and he nods, grinning happily down at his little sister. They were both sat on the bed in the young girl's room as Erwin was telling her about their father's theory on humanity. "It's so extraordinary, right? Y/N, one day we'll uncover the secret of humanity. We'll do it together!"
He turns around to look at her, slightly out of breath. "Go home. It's not safe for you." She crosses her arms to show her childish stubbornness. "Where you go I go." All of a sudden, she notices a pink hue form under his cheeks. "Whatever... just don't get in my way."
She looked up to see a tall dirty blonde haired man knocking the two men out. "Hey, are you alright? I'm Farlan." She tilted her head softly in confusion. Why would they want her to kill him? He saved her! "I-I'm fine. My name's Y/N." Her eyes widen as she remembered that she was looking for Levi. "Shit."
"Of course I can! Don't look down on me!" She giggles, crouching down with her hands on her knees in a teasing manner. "Well... you are on the floor."
She nods and makes her way upstairs, kicking their door open and pulling out finger guns, aiming it at them. "Heya rugrats!" They all cheer and aim theirs at her.
"Right, you two. No arguments, alright?" Hange smiles at the both of them. Levi had been moved to their section of the formation with her. She nods happily, grabbing Levi's hand softly, squeezing it. "And no blades to throats." Levi rolls his eyes whilst Y/N giggled at their little joke.
"Wasting it? Haha! Wasting it? My only granddaughter is getting married! At the right age too!" I nod slightly with a nervous smile on my face. "I expect there to be babies made on the wedding night!"
That night whilst they're in bed, Levi gains a heavy gut feeling. A painful one. He felt like he shouldn't go on the expedition, what if something were to happen? Y/N notices his discomfort and grabs his hand with a smile. "I love you forever and always, remember that?"
"Levi..."
The short man's eyes are wide as he repeatedly shakes his head in denial, stumbling back. He looked terrified, and almost in denial. Well, she couldn't blame him.
Her memories had come rushing through her head all at once, giving her a pounding headache. But she had to persevere, the one she had been looking for was right there in front of her, and was turning to run away down the hallway.
As she chased after him, so many thoughts ran through her head. How could she have forgotten him?! How could she have forgotten a man who meant so much to her, held so much significance in her life.
"Levi!" She caught up to him, the two of them crashing into a wall as he tried to run around a corner. She caged him into the wall, and her eyes immediately widened as he started to fight against it, shuffling around weakly.
"Tch. You're not real, you damn brat!" He screamed, his hands clutching her wrists as he tried to push her off of him. Tears brimmed the both of their eyes.
"Oh, Levi. What did I do to you..?" She whispered weakly, reaching one hand to stroke his cheek. "I'm here now, I'm going to be here forever, I promise you, Levi. I'm never going to leave you again."
He collapsed into her arms, the two of them dropping to the floor. Levi wrapped her arms tightly around her as he began to sob into her neck, pulling her as close to him as she could. "Y/N... Y/N... please don't leave me again."
A sob escaped her mouth as she stroked a hand through his hair. "I'm never going to leave you. I'm here now, I'm going to stay. I'm so sorry for leaving you this long, it's a long story but I haven't given up searching for you."
"T-The baby-"
"She's here too! She's alive, and she's so beautiful. She looks exactly like you. I named her Isabella, and honestly, you'll love her, I promise. She's been so excited to meet you." He looked up at her, bringing his head up from his neck.
"You're real, right? This isn't another one of my sick nightmares." He reached his hands up to stroke her cheeks, as if checking that she was real. She raised hers at the same time, wiping his tears off of his cheeks.
"I've been so alone..." Levi finally whimpered, and she pulled him back into her arms.
"But we're together again. I remember you, Levi. I remember you, finally."
She closed her eyes and smiled as she wrapped her arms around him once more, so many emotions running through her at once.
You're mine again.
