A/N - this is the chapter that you've all been waiting for! I think now is the time to address, incase I forget, that Chapter 15 will contain some sensitive content so if you've ever had trouble with a pregnancy, or a close family/friend has, I advise you read with caution or just skip the chapter. But this is a positive chapter soo!

Y/N

"What do you want to ask me?" I ask nervously as the titans start to walk closer to us. "Damn, if I knew this was going to happen I would've brought the ring!" Heat rises up to my face in realisation as I find out what he's going to ask.

"Y/N, I love you so so much. You're my best friend and my partner. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, tsk, even if that's only a few more minutes." The ground begins to rumble beneath us as I flinch. He grabs my hands and intertwines his fingers with mine.

"Y/N... I... Tsk. You mean so much to me.. and, shit I'm not good at this, I... ugh! Will you marry me?! Even if we don't get to have the ceremony, I want to call you my fiancée." I tear up and nod, he pulls me into his chest as we drop to our knees. The titans finally close in on us as they reach to grab us.

He squeezes me tightly, refusing to let me go. I was terrified, I squeeze my eyes shut and curl more into his chest. "It's okay..." he whispers into my ear softly, pulling me even closer. I wrap my arms around his back, making sure he feels protected as well.

"Why did it have to turn out this way..?" I mumble, as the hands reach out to us. "At least we'll be together." He says, kissing my forehead before the hand begins to shadow over our small forms.

All of a sudden, the hand drops to the ground as steam begins to emit from all the Titan's napes. Levi pulls away and stands, helping me up. He pulls me close to him again, and I notice H/N coming through the trees. She runs up to me and nuzzles her nose into my hand.

"You smart horse.." I mumble in shock. She had gotten help... what?! "Section commander! Squad Captain, are you alright?!" The girl in Levi's squad, Petra, asks. She was just a year younger than us.

I nod, a bit shaken up. "Y/N!" Erwin shouts, jumping in front of Levi and me. "Thank the gods you both are alive." We both nod and I inform Erwin of what happened with the gear. He goes into a state of shock and slight anger, which he contains.

"I'll be sure to inform the Commander and look into this. It won't be taken lightly." Gunther brings Levi his horse and I hop onto H/N. "When we get home, I'll give you the ring." He says to me as we're riding back. I smile happily and nod, before riding ahead to join Shadis' side as Section Commander.

Once we get through the walls, we get off of our horses, pulling them along and sooner or later we're hit with countless insults and compliments. It was about 50/50. I look to the side to see Eren, Mikasa and this little blonde guy staring at us in awe. I smile slightly, waving to them. I'm extremely saddened by the one soldier that died under my command but I know it could've gone way worse.

As soon as the aftermath of the expedition is handled, Levi and I leave the base after getting permission to go home. I sigh in relief and flop back onto our sofa. "I think that was the most dire situation we've been in." I say finally, and he clicks his tongue.

After a few minutes, he walks upstairs, leaving me alone with my thoughts. I giggle as I imagine multiple (favourite dog) puppies running around in a circle, chasing each other's tails. Damn, I want a dog now. "Oi." I hear, and I look up to see Levi leaning over the sofa to face me.

"Oh, hi!" He rolls his eyes and walks round. He gets on one knee which is shocking because he hates dirty floors, and we haven't been here in a while. I sit up with a bashful grin on my face. He takes me hand and slides a gorgeous engagement ring onto my finger. It was exactly my size.

It had a (birth month) gem in the middle with tiny little diamonds spreading out after it. "I may or may not have went to your grandfather for his blessing..." he starts, which causes my eyes to widen. "Levi, you didn't have to-" he shakes his head, cutting me off. "I wanted to. He helped me pick out a ring and insisted on paying for it." I laugh, knowing that was something he'd do. He's strict but he'd do anything for me.

"We also had a discussion, and he said that he'd proudly allow me to take on the Smith family name." I snicker, pulling him up and sitting him next to me. "Seems like grandfather really warmed up to you, huh?" He nods with a small smile on his face.

"Tsk. So, how do weddings go exactly?" I gasp and stand up, as if feeling something calling me. Telling me this was my time to shine. Being a noble from Wall Sina, I had gone to multiple weddings before I was thrown into the depths of the underground. They were all grand and beautiful, but would Levi want to have such a wedding?

"I know what you're thinking." He says, standing up and pulling me towards him. "Whatever wedding you want, I'll go along with." I smile gently, looking off to the side. "Does that mean we can have a grand wedding?" I ask. Call me feminine, but being raised by nobles meant I had to go to parties. And at these parties there would be times where the women would have to go into the other room so men could have more 'manly' conversations, as my mother would put it.

All the ladies in there would gush over me and tell me about how beautiful weddings are and how I should be looking forward to having one of my own. Even when in the underground, I clung to the idea of having such a grand wedding, and I knew it would make my grandfather very happy.

"Yes, we can. We can invite anyone you want." He clicks his tongue after that sentence, obviously not comfortable with the idea of 'fat merchant pigs' as he called them coming to our wedding. "Levi. You have a say in this matter as well. It's our wedding, not mine."

"Tsk. I just want you to be happy." I roll my eyes, wrapping my arms around his neck. "I'm already happy because I have the greatest and most handsome fiancé in the entire world." He smiles gently at me, and that night as we were lying in bed, we didn't get an inch of sleep because we were planning everything out.

But of course, my grandfather would take matters into his own hands.
